Listening to digital health business pitches at #sxsw…so many entrepreneurs are out of touch with the reality of on-the-ground clinical work. Would love to see more clinicians in this space, which is why I admire the work of @webby_do, @drhemalee, & more / cc: @chrissyfarr

I’m a biologist in a film: No matter what I’m looking at, it’ll be through a low-power light microscope. The sample will also be on a sealed slide but moving. I work for a super villain at a private company, never an academic lab. I don’t struggle calculating moles or dilutions.
I was talking to a physical therapist about neck exercises for my chronic neck pain & she described one of the movements as "what you do when someone gross tries to kiss you," & that was so epically perfect we are now best friends forever.
