One of the ways of increasing your visibility as a programmer is to maintain a public github account. There was an anecdote shared at #CASS2018 where person was hired w/o an interview because of the content of their github profile. #EnggEduMythBusting

@__biswa #CASS2018 and #WOMS2017 were great in dispelling those notions and this myth busting needs to be a continue process of engagement with students. Especially from Tier-2 institutes.

@__biswa I think this again boils down to the same problem that people are not aware of system design kind of jobs and think that all jobs only require hard core programming expertise.
