That said, they largely fall into 3 groups.

It's most helpful to look at this in the context of other numbers, but I love it as a starting point.

It's not COGS, gross margin, or EBITDA.

It's simpler:

Revenue per employee.

From it, you:

➡️ Understand how a company stacks up with others in an industry.

➡️ Get a read on overall business efficiency.

➡️ Gather how profitable a business is/can be without needing to go too deep on financials
