@myhandle's Navigation By Moonlight explored the feminine art of yin - setting up opportunities. Extend that logic to its natural counterpart - the art of yang is acting on opportunities - and you get a noble vision of what it means to be a man, that goes beyond just dating
You can learn the principles of good style and just... not follow them. Some are impractical, but as it turns out, a lot of good style *is* just dressing for what is well suited for your context.
Fashion isn't only about suffering for style points. It can be for your comfort, too
@meadandjuniper The context you're in is probably the highest fidelity signal of your personality! Which is why both apps and random street approaches are poor - no context. A rave, a coffee shop, a ballroom dance floor all convey quite different messages
@meadandjuniper@funplings This is mostly a skill issue imo. Most people don't optimize their outfits for curating cold approaches, but they could if they wanted to!
You can think of it like character design for a game or movie. Lots can be conveyed by outfit (and context!) without a word being spoken
Hey vibecamp friends! I made a relational arts cabin for anyone interested in partner dance, improv theater, singing/music jamming, circling, etc.
Reply to the discord thread or DM me to join. Cabin submissions are due June 5th!
I might be giving private dance lessons 👀
