Sheldrick Wildlife Trust es una de las organizaciones de conservación más famosas y respetadas de África, conocida mundialmente por su trabajo pionero en el rescate, rehabilitación y reinserción de elefantes huérfanos. No dejar a ningún elefante atrás, es un valor bajo el cual viven los elefantes: son increíblemente leales y solo abandonarán a los suyos en las circunstancias más extremas. Durante la sequía, la búsqueda de agua de una madre y su cría se convirtió en una trampa mortal. Atrapada sin escapatoria, la madre continuó protegiendo a su pequeño de la única manera que podía: escudándolo con su trompa. Su bebé fue igualmente valiente, corriendo de vuelta hacia su madre y negándose a apartarse de su lado.
Fue una operación monumental rescatar a la pareja, en colaboración con el Servicio de Vida Silvestre de Kenia (KWS), pero lograron liberar tanto a la madre como a la cría. 🐘❤️

Prayer to Our Lady, Undoer of Knots

Heavenly Father,

Today I come before You with a heart that feels tangled.

Some knots were tied by fear.
Some by worry.
Some by mistakes I've made.
Some by pain I never asked for.

And some... I don't even know how they got there.

Blessed Mother, Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, I ask you to gently take these burdens into your loving hands.

Untie every knot that keeps me from trusting God completely.

Untie the knot of anxiety that steals my peace.

Untie the knot of resentment that weighs down my heart.

Untie the knot of financial worry, broken relationships, unanswered prayers, illness, and discouragement.

Where I see no way forward, help me believe that God is already preparing one.

Where I have become impatient, teach me to wait with faith.

Where I have lost hope, remind me that nothing is impossible for God.

Mother Mary, wrap your mantle around every person reading this prayer today.

Comfort the weary.

Strengthen the discouraged.

Bring healing to the sick.

Restore families.

Open doors that only God can open.

And gently untie every knot that keeps us from living in His peace.

Jesus, I place my life into Your hands.

I trust that even when I cannot see what You are doing, You are working for my good.

Our Lady, Undoer of Knots,

Pray for us.
