@LiamHennessey9@HRMFireNews Prior to the rank restructuring which got rid of the deputy’s and chiefs in the rural the core Station Chiefs were always called Captians. So we are just reverting back.
@TriffJoe@HRMFireNews The Superintendant of Emergency fleet services was a volunteer firefighter in Newfoundland for years and left the service as core volunteer lieutenant with HRFE. So it’s not his lack of knowledge of firefighting that’s the issue.
My little brother is severely colorblind and so is his principle at school. While they were learning about colorblindness in class, his principle brought in some glasses that let him see color for the first time, and he was very emotional. Check it out:
@oldworldblues__@HRMFireNews For HRFE it’s Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status. Most departments have that as a standard as far as I’m aware.
