Doing one's best to stay sane until they put me in a home. Biker. Unhealthy interests in radio, TV, road signs, pylons and weather. Occasional Panto Dame.
@Mattisamazing33 Would recommend. Nice food at the pub in that village. All poshy noby but nice all the same. You can ride through the village on yr motorbike right to the end of the peninsula. There a gate blocking cars about 400 yds but I can get my tiger through alright to the very end ๐
@Mattisamazing33 Be careful. An officious warden gave me a Parking ticket in Grantham once for parking like this, citing the yellow lines cover the pavement too ๐
@Mattisamazing33 Certainly did. Got my first bike, a Kawasaki AE80 when I was 17. Rode it into the ground, was utterly fearless on it and stupid. Crap build quality and the bad snowy winter of 1981 meant it rusted away to nothing almost. Riding without proper gloves or gear, ๐ฅถ
@Mattisamazing33 Never a truer word spoken! Iโm in the same boat, stuck in a Premier Inn here in Glasgow for work. I can feel my life ebbing away sometimes. In the summer itโs not too bad as I can drive out or go somewhere but in the winter itโs not too feels like enforced incarceration.
