@sgfmann You really think it’s bcci that demands the timings and not the media houses who telecast the game?? You must be daft. You were always a racist. Which is why you latch on to every strawman that denigrates India/bcci. Game follows the money. MCC/ECB used to get it. Now they beg.
@piersmorgan@benstokes38 Bertrand Russell wrote in his memoirs that cathedrals are built in the glory of the bishop and churches are in the glory of Christ. I’ve found Stokes always to be the bishop in his cathedral called cricket. Yes, England shone too, but always in reflected glory.
@balders2 I think the Kiwis have regularly put every other cricket team to shame. Yet, there isn’t a cricket fan that begrudges the Kiwis their status. I speak as an Indian. They pasted us 3-0 at home. Yet most of us, we love them & admire the way they play cricket.

@AjayJadeja171 It’s a meta-issue: the main team has lost enthusiasm for bilaterals. They muster up their mojo only for WCs, IPL & sometimes for Test Championship. @BCCI can think of sending Ind A & B players as main team for bilaterals & ‘rest’ the main team & GG and his support team.
@jrodbourn It’s insane how Bashir gets to play in international games. Usually teams find out in the first series and quietly dump such players. Eng is prolly the only team at present that nurtures such players. Bash is not the first, won’t be the last.
@BCCI It seems that our team is not interested in playing bilateral matches. Look how listless they all are! We saw the same last year too. They sleepwalk thru’ home matches & still win most times. Away, is a diff ballgame. As we can see, even vs. Ireland. Only serious for ICC & IPL.
#WATCH | Bhubaneswar: Jyothi Yarraji, the sprinter-cum-hurdler who won the gold medal in the 65th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship, says, "I am very happy, I want to thank God that he is with me. In the Asian Games, I will strive to bring home gold. I am training for that." (24.06)
@SamAlex696969@SukritBanerjee Incorrect. It never was shared ‘equally’. As for ‘fair’, that word is a strawman trigger. Growth: MCC kept it imprisoned. Since it escaped imperial clutches, cricket’s flourished. More play it now than ever. Google the cricket calendars till 90s, note Eng & Aus. What do u see?
@NBDwrites@vishy173 🙂 I’ve lived in Aus. The patina wears off easily. Aussies r great people but inherently racist. They don’t realise it, they don’t acknowledge it. It’s a blind spot. Almost all of it is passed off as ‘banter’. But u know it’s not because they get riled up when u respond in kind.
@SamAlex696969@SukritBanerjee 2/2 when I mean its media money to host boards, its to smaller nations. Check how many India has done: Zim, Netherlands, Ireland, Scots, Namibia. Remember the countries may be 1st world, but their cricket boards are poor. They earn as much from one Ind series to last the year.
@gangadhar_11 Have you considered that @BCCI might’ve contacted the RR team and asked them to do the needful since Vaibhav is comfortable with them? Plus it’s Mittal’s home turf. It’s perhaps better to have a home available along with the option of a hotel? Isn’t it wiser this way?
@archivist4ever@ZahackTanvir Alas no. I know it’s a challenge for you to understand the reference, not ever having read a book. It is also revealing that you can only mock like a child, by calling names. Arre, at least be witty. Itna toh banta hai. Par mand budhdhi virasat me mili ho to kya kare!!! Duvidha!
@Jabalisamhita@Jamie_Venom This is a common misconception that all Brits in UK, all sahibs in India & all Anglo-Indians spoke RP. They didn’t. It’s a matter of which class one belonged to. The upper classes who received education from specific schools spoke RP. Still do. RP is no longer the gold std. Alas.
@archivist4ever@ZahackTanvir That is an ignorant statement from a fool who has not read a book in his life. You could’ve said ‘like a tittir from Shakha’. That at least has a reference to regurgitation.
