"I love how obscure human language is getting." -@olliemonster360 Probably the best thing that's ever been said in response to something that's come out of my mouth.
I predict here and now that Sharon Rogers is going to be the one to take up the shield, launching Emily VanCamp into the spotlight as the next MCU Phase's Captain America. 🏞️
Just realized a migraine symptom that shows up just before or at the end: olfactory hallucinations, or phantosma. Yesterday I was smelling burnt toast before my head started hurting, and now at the tail end I keep smelling sulfur. Weird.
So I've realized: I can't get sad at "all the things I could have learned if I'd just paid attention," because my mind just doesn't work that way. I learned a lot about a little, rather than a little about a lot. If people know a lot about a lot, I'd love to meet them.
In high school I was spaced out 90% of the time, but I would always latch onto the one thing I was actually able to attention to and learn the shit out of that. Like, really understand it inside and out. And I'll probably know it forever. But I never even heard the rest.
My essays would always be propped up on the one thing I was actually able to internalize, and how well I did on tests was based entirely on how much they covered that one topic.
