​تاریخی دعوؤں، جذباتی نعروں اور لسانی و نسلی تعصب نے سرحد کے دونوں طرف بسنے والے لوگوں، خصوصاً پشتونوں کو شدید متاثر کیا ہے۔ پچھلے 50 سال سے ناعاقبت اندیشانہ پالیسیوں اور افغان جنگوں کی وجہ سے ہم اس آگ میں جل رہے ہیں۔ ان مسائل کو حل کرنے کے لیے ماضی کی شکایات اور جذباتی نعروں کے بجائے حقائق، ذمہ داری اور مستقبل کی ضرورتوں کو سامنے رکھنا ہوگا۔ مذہب یا پشتون قومیت کے نام پر مسلح گروہوں کی حمایت نے امن کو سخت نقصان پہنچایا ہے۔ معصوم لوگوں کا خون مسجد، مدرسے، حجرے، بازار اور اسکولوں میں بہایا گیا، جو اسلام اور پختون روایت دونوں کے خلاف ہے۔
​ہم ہر قسم کے لسانی اور نسلی تعصب کے سخت خلاف ہیں۔ پشتونوں کو مذہب، پشتون قومیت، زبان یا نسل کے نام پر تقسیم کرنا انتہائی نقصان دہ ہے۔ پنجابیوں یا دیگر اقوام کے خلاف نفرت انگیز رویے اور افغانستان کے اندر مختلف نسلی گروہوں کے درمیان لسانی تقسیم کی سیاست تباہ کن ہے۔ ہمارے پیارے آقا حضرت محمد مصطفیٰ ﷺ نے اپنے خطبۂ حجۃ الوداع میں واضح تعلیمات عطا فرمائی ہیں کہ کسی عربی کو عجمی پر اور کسی عجمی کو عربی پر، نہ کسی گورے کو کالے پر اور نہ کسی کالے کو گورے پر کوئی برتری حاصل ہے، سوائے تقویٰ کے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نے عصبیت اور تعصب کو گندے کیڑے سے تشبیہ دی ہے۔ اس لیے قومیت، زبان اور نسل کو نفرت اور سیاسی مفادات کا ذریعہ بنانے کے بجائے باہمی احترام کو فروغ دینا چاہیے۔
​پاکستان معاشی لحاظ سے ایک بڑا ا��ر مضبوط ملک ہے جس کی معیشت کا حجم 450 ارب ڈالر ہے۔ پاکستان کی برآمدات پوری دنیا کی منڈیوں تک پہنچتی ہیں، جن میں 19 ارب ڈالر کی ٹیکسٹائل ایکسپورٹ، عالمی سطح پر نمبر ون سرجیکل آلات، کھیلوں کا بہترین سامان اور ذائقہ دار پھل شامل ہیں۔ دوسری طرف، غلط پالیسیوں اور فرضی لکیر کی رٹ لگانے کی وجہ سے پشتون سرحد کے دونوں طرف تباہ ہوا ہے، خواہ وہ پرچمی ہو، خلقی ہو، شوریٰ ہو، کمیونسٹ ہو، مجاہد ہو، طالبان ہو یا امریکہ نواز ہو۔ سب نے پختونوں کو نقصان پہنچایا ہے ، یہ افغانی دنیا میں انسائیت کے نام پر پناہ لیتے ہیں وہاں یہ نہیں بتاتے کہ ہمارا پانچ ہزار سال تاریخ کے لیکن یہاں لسانی کار�� کھیلا جاتا ہے۔ دنیا میں زبان اور مذہب کے نام پر سیاست نہیں ہوتی بلکہ انسان کی فلاح پر ہوتی ہے۔
​سرحدی کشیدگی اور تجارت کی بندش سے سرحد کے دونوں طرف کے تاجروں، کسانوں، مریضوں، طلبہ اور عام شہریوں کو شدید نقصان پہنچتا ہے۔ پختون کا گڑ اور تمباکو افغانستان نہیں جا سکتا اور نہ وہاں کا انار یہاں آ سکتا ہے۔ تاہم تجارت کی بندش سے پاکستان کو معاشی طور پر کوئی بڑا نقصان نہیں ہوا بلکہ اسمگلنگ میں کمی آئی ہے اور بعض اشیاء کی قیمتوں پر مثبت اثر پڑا ہے۔ باقاعدہ تجارت اور تعلقات کی بحالی تب ہی ممکن ہے جب افغان حکومت دہشت گردوں اور مسلح گروہوں کے خلاف سنجیدگی سے کارروائی کرے۔
​پشتون قوم کی اصل غیرت جنگ، اسلحے، بارود اور مسلسل تصادم میں نہیں ہے، بلکہ تعلیم، سائنس، تحقیق، ٹیکنالوجی، کاروبار اور معاشی ترقی میں ہے۔ پشتون نوجوانوں کو ڈاکٹر، انجینئر، سائنس دان، استاد اور محقق بننا چاہیے۔ پنجاب اور پاکستان کی ��ڑی یونیورسٹیوں میں پشتون وائس چانسلرز اور پی ایچ ڈی اسکالرز کی موجودگی اس بات کا واضح ثبوت ہے کہ تعلیم ہی کامیابی، خوشحالی اور قوم کے وقار کی اصل علامت ہے۔
​ماضی کی غلطیوں اور جذباتی نعروں سے نکل کر ہمیں اپنے بچوں کے روشن، امن پسند اور معاشی طور پر مستحکم مستقبل کی ��رف قدم بڑھانا ہوگا۔

A Karachi based non-profit organization (Shehri) once shared data with me indicating 500+ mosques stand on encroached land in the city. If I am not wrong, the data was linked to a Jamaat-e-Islami petition. I can't trace the court order.. Why mosques on encroachment?

@ammarawrites Justice must be proven in court, not decided by a trigger. Extrajudicial killings destroy evidence, erase crime trails, undermine the judiciary, & violate the rule of law. A state must uphold the law, not become a law unto itself & weak courts are no excuse for bypassing justice

Extrajudicial killings are not justice, a denial of due process. They allow police to become investigators, judges & executioners. They deny victims’ families the full truth, destroy evidence & make abuse easier to hide. Justice means proving guilt in court

No one can see into Wasim Abbas’ mother’s heart or judge her love for her child without knowing the circumstances she went through. Perhaps she was forced to forget him, or perhaps her husband never accepted the child. Who knows? All we see today is a mother crying for her child.
