The government is using “talking to First Nations” as an excuse for fighting against First Nations children in court. The @AFN_Updates the @ChiefsofOntario and @NANComms are opposing Canada in in these hearings. @CanadianPM don’t use First Nations as a shield for your wrongdoing.

Just a reminder - Peel and Toronto have been in "lockdown" since Nov - and cases continue to rise. We blame restaurants, bars, homesense etc - but the data seems to show who gets COVID/variants, and dies. It's communities of essential workers (blue is essential workers).

A Stats Canada report estimated that up to 80% of police responses to calls were related to issues of mental health, drug overdose, suicide, domestic dispute/domestic violence & other ‘non-criminal’ offences.

If police are not trained to handle these issues, why are they sent?
