This machine involves Onefinity hardware, Masso control and a Redline VFD.
Those components need to work together.
If the manufacturer changes the hardware between generations, the documentation needs to change too.
A video demonstrating a different generation of VFD isn't a solution.
"Find the parameters yourself" isn't technical support for a $5,000+ machine

I understand that CNC machines require learning.
I've spent countless hours learning VCarve, tooling, feeds, speeds and CNC operation.
That's completely different from being expected to perform factory-level troubleshooting because the support documentation doesn't match the hardware that was shipped.
The customer shouldn't be the integration engineer

And it gets better.
Instead of providing a complete list of the correct parameters for my specific Gen 2 configuration, I'm being directed toward a spindle/VFD manual and expected to find the necessary codes myself.
I paid $5,000+ for a finished CNC.
I didn't buy a VFD programming course.

The video I was given shows an older VFD with buttons and a display directly on the VFD.
My Elite Gen 2 does NOT have those buttons or that display.
The VFD enclosure is sealed.
So I'm being told to follow instructions for hardware that isn't the hardware I bought.

I contacted Onefinity support expecting a machine-specific solution.
Instead, I was directed toward a factory reset and manually entering roughly 25 VFD parameters.
Okay. If that's what it takes, give me the correct parameters and instructions for MY machine.
That's where things got ridiculous.

Here's what makes this especially frustrating:
The manual speed control works.
So the spindle can physically run at the commanded speed.
The problem appears when the Masso/controller is supposed to translate the RPM command from the G-code to the VFD.
That's a fundamental function of a CNC machine

🚨 $5,000+ CNC BUYER BEWARE 🚨
My Onefinity Elite Gen 2 arrived with a serious spindle-control problem.
Command 6,000 RPM in the G-code and the spindle goes to roughly 24,000 RPM.
I have video documenting it.
That's not a minor inconvenience. That's a CNC doing something completely different from what the G-code commands#Onefinity #OnefinityCNC #OnefinityElite #OnefinityGen2 #CNC #CNCmachining #CNCRouter
@BrandonStraka Who gives a flying f@$k about Mueller. He was a treasonous lying bastard. There are so many more out there to concern us. They all need arrested regardless of their age and social or economic status. Arrest them and seize all their assets.
@tforce_freight absolute failure on shipment 428060765. Last mile failure you diverted my machinery to a third party warehouse with 0 ETA. My small business is at a standstill because of your incompetence. Ship with anyone except these guys. #tforcefreight#shippingfail#ltl
