Our site now features a decentralized widget to support one of our core missions with decentralized moderation. For over 30 years and across multiple continents we have worked in supporting animals. Our volunteers are currently feeding over 500-600 cats daily and aiming to feed more. Last year we averaged 1000 or so per day and aim to beat that. Check out our widget, such wow https://t.co/dLzWmSzXnE
🦉 On a journey through educating myself on Alpenglow consensus and avoiding killing my eyes against raw logs, I developed a tool that could be interesting to local enthusiasts. Please have a look, this is abracadabra 📷 . It is a pure console log illustrator that tries to plot a relatively precise picture of what is going on validator-side. I learned something by building it and hope you fellas find it interesting too. Please note, this is purely me trying to understand the source and a new log stream. I can be wrong on something, and if you spot any misalignment, please post an issue on GitHub. I would like to learn more together. Currently tested with 'ag-v0.3.2' and above
@deanmlittle@therealchaseeb@adamdelphantom We'll be hosting a dev only event right before breakpoint this year to do exactly this
Solana has some of the best devs in the world and they deserve their time in the spotlight
It is time to bring back the builder culture in full force
Slept 7h+ for the first time in weeks. Woke up feeling fresh and energized.
Step out onto the terrace. It's warm and sunny, not a cloud in the sky.
What a beautiful sunday.
Coffee time. I live for this moment. That first sip in the morning. Life is amazing.
Open the laptop.
Agave 4.0 is rolling out, let's take a quick look at metrics.
Looking great. This release really is something. The big validators are upgrading, all the key metrics are visibly improving even though we're only at ~25% adoption.
Vibes are immaculate. Not a drop of cortisol in my blood. What a day.
Oh right, the testnet XDP thing.
A week ago, we asked everyone on testnet to turn XDP on so we can run some stress tests. Let's see how that's going.
...
Only 80 of you have turned it on.
I'm going to crash out.
We ask you to do one thing. One command. It takes one minute and you don't do it.
What is wrong with you.
The cluster limit should be 100 nodes we don't need more and you can't change my mind.
TURN THE THING ON OH MY GOD IT TAKES ONE MINUTE WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO WIN
Slowpoke Update:
- Validator client types are now visible on the leaderboard, enabling quick identification of each validator's client (e.g., Jito, BAM, Firedancer, Agave/Harmonic).
- SFDP status is displayed with clear, color-coded badges (Approved, Pending, Rejected, and related states).
