And there are two reasons for this: either an inspection is coming, or an ass-kicking from above has already landed. Well then, off we go.

Putin has not yet publicly announced mobilization, for obvious September election-related reasons, but the injection of fresh stewing meat is evident. And signs of covert recruitment are impossible to hide from modern OSINT, even deep in the taiga of the swamps.
