Restricted free agent guard Jordan Miller has pinged back to the Los Angeles Clippers on a new three-year, $15.3 million deal, sources tell ESPN. Miller served his way last season with 10 points per game on 53% from the field, and rallied to score double digits in 20 of his final 26 games last season. Clippers officials came to set and point Friday morning with Jason Glushon of @GlushonSM.
Kyle Lowry will be retiring as a Toronto Raptor.
@michaelgrange has more on the team's plans to honour one of the most significant players in franchise history and the backbone of the most successful era the Raptors have ever had. https://t.co/HZ6DQVVOBc
The L.A. Clippers were 2 wins away from making the NBA finals 5 years ago.
Now, everyone from the roster has officially moved on.
🏀 Kawhi Leonard is making a return to the Raptors
🏀 Paul George is with the Celtics
🏀 Terance Mann is the trusted vet on the Nets
🏀 Ivica Zubac is with the Pacers
🏀 Nicolas Batum is a free agent
🏀 Luke Kennard is with the Suns
The expectations were high the moment Kawhi and Paul George arrived in LA.
And for a few years, their roster looked like the team to beat on paper.
But what looked like the start of a dynasty turned into one of the biggest what-ifs of the decade.
Kawhi and PG dealt with injuries every season.
They choked a 3-1 lead in the bubble.
The Clippers tried their best to shake up the roster to complement their star duo, but the championship window only kept getting smaller.
And with Kawhi's departure, safe to say that has officially closed 🤝
