Honestly its a real shitty thing to do. I've sold things from my own personal collection before (out of necessity in the past) but I always went out of my way to make things right for buyers. I didn't try to cancel or relist if the items ended up being worth slightly more...

@GlobalBoxOffice @Shpeshal_Nick Should've made it a ride at Universal kind of like Disney's Haunted Mansion. As for movie, I wouldn't expect it to be 1:1 with the games but hopefully entertaining at the very least.

Reflecting on it a day after, I think I bump up the Mario Galaxy Movie to at least 7.5/10. My nephew, niece, and little brother had fun. We agreed it was better than the first one, which personally I have very little desire to rewatch. Haven't seen it since it came out tbh.

Overall I'd rate it an average 6/10. Could they do better? Definitely. Was it still somewhat entertaining? Yeah. That's my view on it.

People bring up Sonic 3 but even that one had issues. I'd say just in general don't ever expect video game movies to be perfect. The games are always gonna be the best way to experience the story because you actively participate and spend hours on it.

Saw the Mario Galaxy Movie. I thought it was kinda fun. Better than the first one. Didn't like the changes to Rosalina's backstory (+her being sidelined) etc other stuff but I went into it knowing its just a movie and movies can never surpass the actual games they're based on.

Would anyone be interested in buying 2 general tickets for that Speed of Sound Sonic concert? I impluse bought them but I really can't go anyway so I'd be down for letting them go at a really reduced price so someone else can enjoy them. It's in LA for Dec 11 I believe.

Dr. Tenma just ends up popping in once in whule in the manga a few times later either to help or try to steal him back. My favorite is when he upgrades Atom to be stronger in the Greatest Robot on Earth arc.

I at least give this movie props for actually being one of the few adaptations where Dr. Tenma fully accepts Atom/Astro as his second son. In other media he usually does sorta grow to care about him a bit but by that point its too late because Atom has a new father figure/family

I honestly liked the new Muppet Show and I hope it actually gets to keep going. I hope Disney doesn't shove the Muppets back into their cell again.

@videogamedeals Whole bunch of ps1 and ps2 games for 1.99 at the thrift several years ago before thrifting went to crap and prices skyrocketed. I don't resell. I keep whatever I find even if I have multiples so I always have backups, physical and digital.

@DiscussingFilm I'm glad they've kept Speedy around. I was never offended by him and I thought he was cool. I hope Slowpoke Rodriquez is in it too, though.
