Artist Joseph Cornell explored assemblage fantasy worlds while cooped up in his mom's basement. The work speaks to both wanderlust and containment. Take a trip with us through these amazing shadowboxes!

@monicaditomassi@Riley3527 Monica, when I first saw it I thought, "he uploaded the [professional artist's] work. Maybe he didn't understand the assignment." Then I realized it wasn't a professional image- it was HIS! I was BLOWN AWAY! :) Just amazing!
Such fun to watch these students from the high school’s National Art Honor Society share the coloring books they made with the kindergarten at Whitehall Elementary! #nasdproud#nahs#nationalarthonorsociety
We hope that everyone who attended our painting sessions at the highschool's PD today enjoyed their time! Together we hosted 6 sessions of flip-flops on the beach. It's funny to think of all the colleagues that will now have the same painting in their homes. ;P
Congrats Victor Martinez! Your talent will now be recognized all throughout NASD for years to come. Thank you for redesigning our mascot logo. We are all very proud of you. #NorristownProud

NAHS Ceramics students had a great time at the Shofuso Japanese Garden and Tea House Field trip last Friday. So relaxing! Dr. Kirker and Ms. Knopf say it was one of the best field trips ever!
Within minutes of our invitation, this brave man exchanged his suit for an apron. Thanks a ton to @NASDSuper Mr. Dormer for getting down and dirty with the NAHS ceramics students today and letting these cool kids instruct your morning art lesson. We loved having you join us!
Art History students having a fantastic day at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Proud of these students and their level of engagement and thoughtfulness with our lesson. Great day of learning! #pma#philadelphia#townpride#paarted
