@JosephMooneyMP It's a tax haven and a dictatorship.
Did you know MasterCard and Visa pay little to no tax in NZ? They have a sweetheart deal with Singapore to pay 4% on income earned here.
Perhaps change that sort of thing and see what happens?
@barry_john35199 Well the thing is, we locked young people out of buying a house. Right?
So then, they feel super aggrieved and want to see older people lose their homes.
@roisinmurphy Yes, men are demanding access to all their spaces.
BUT this is what women have been doing for the last 40 years. Men have zero spaces for themselves now.
Feminism has a lot to blame in this area.
And of course, there are many many women cheering on all the trans nonsense.
@TheZeitgeistNZ And what if the evidence shows up in 20 or 30 years time? Due to something we didn't foresee?
Pretty hard to put the genie back in the bottle aye?
White people are terrified of being seen as racist.
If white guilt permeates the online world and our schools, then our adults will feel guilty too.
This helps neither whites nor ethnics.
My ARC speech:
Cool. But what is @nzfirst doing to oppose the next wave of GMO deregulation through the HSNO Amendment Bill and ACVM Bill?
The Gene Technology Bill has only been stalled. It isn't dead.
The Government's legislative LOCKSTEP package includes:
Gene Technology Bill → establishes the regulatory framework for gene-edited organisms and GMOs for environmental release.
HSNO Amendment Bill → makes consequential changes to the existing HSNO framework and safeguards, which has kept GMOs safetly contained in labs for decades.
ACVM Amendment Bill → updates the agricultural compounds and veterinary medicines regime to accommodate products that contain "regulated organisms" once the Gene Technology framework is in place.
This is how controversial reforms move forward: multiple legislative pathways advancing at the same time, creating submission fatigue and overwhelming public scrutiny.
Don't mistake a delay for a victory. The fight isn't over by any means.
The HSNO and ACVM proposals could have even wider implications.
So far, NZ First hasn't publicly outlined its position on either bill.
Please write to them on their stance. DEMAND they STOP all bills.
@SimeonBrownMP Which more people would IF:
1) You had reduced speed limits as promised.
2) You had stopped the Maorification of everything, as promised.
3) Listened to the room re immigration - India!!!
4) Left the Paris Agreement.
You guys are way too soft.
European Commission turned off air conditioning for floors 1 to 7. Commission President @vonderleyen's office is at 13th floor, and her management is at floors 8 and above 👇
