I honestly don't know how I'm supposed to get up and go teach children and act like I'm okay. Last time this happened I worked in an office and people were sobbing, nothing got done all day. But teachers aren't allowed to express our feelings about politics.
Someone born in 1989 turns 35 this year which is the point where pregnancy becomes more difficult. When Trump was voted in they were 26, the time that a lot of people start to settle down. And they wonder why Millennials aren't having kids
“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

Seeing these results, I don’t think there is anything Harris could have done differently that would have gotten her the win. The direction this country is going and how many are willing to support someone who says and does the things Trump does (still!) is deeply disturbing.
no matter what happens, may this election be the death nail in the self-congratulatory “gen z will change the world” shit. gen z white men vote like every other generation of white men, and in some cases are further to the right
Furious that all of musks stupid little schemes seems to have paid off. The single most annoying person in the world getting everything he wanted should not be allowed. Rich people are an existential threat to good people.
Have so far had two people coming and yelling at people to leave the line at the polling place because it's closing.
THIS IS SUPER ILLEGAL, DO NOT LEAVE THE LINE.
This show Kaos on Netflix is fun. Greek mythology, but in modern days setting. Has a tone that's not quite satire, but also not sincere. I wonder how it reads for someone who isn't a nerd and maybe doesn't have a lot of prior knowledge about the stories.
