@droidbuilds I used to think the same. But at work I need to have like 4-5 tabs open at the same time for each issue. I can work in 2-3 issues at a time. I feel more organized with vertical tabs.
But when I just need to open a few of them then yeah... horizontal is better
@ThePrimeagen don't you think that instead of AI making software cheaper is it making it more expensive? Now companies need to spend in tokens + software engineers to compete and be relevant.
Ruby LSP is now an official Claude Code plugin. With it, Claude queries the language server directly - same as your editor does. Without it, Claude reads the file and tries to extract the structure manually.
@typecraft_dev I think most self-thought programmers feel the same way. I learned programming because computers were fun. All that discovery, experimenting and playing with it is what I like the most. Just wondering what would happen if?....
This is happening to all industries. For example music, you can create an AI song in minutes with trumpets, drums and everything. Why do we need musicians then? Because the quality in the small details matters. I code because I like to code. The same goes for painting artists, why not take just a photo? Because they like to paint, the joy, the fun, the creative focus and express themselves is what is worth it.
@elonmusk@peterrhague Right now AI handles better low tokens languages, like ruby. Anyway here is a fun example in Rust without the common library println.
2.2kb size
I wonder how smaller can we get to compile a "hello world"?
