For people who aren’t familiar with what “sub” is, it is the subsystem level of this program in which a child has lost all privileges. In the last two texts a survivor reported they had lost the right to speak to one or all people in the program. This is common at Uinta.

My father when sending me to this program wanted to be sure there was no practice of “religious indoctrination or conversion therapy” and he was assured these were not common practices. But Uinta exists in rural northern Utah and is staffed by like minded people such as Val.

-which according to Uinta’s code of conduct is not allowed to be worn on clothing or talked about. Punishment in the form of loss of privileges and sometimes the loss of speaking privilege is given if a child is to talk about their gender identity or sexuality.
