I will say this, there has never been a Star Wars character more scrutinised and analysed than Rey. The standards that she’s judged on are astronomical compared to any character in Star Wars, especially Luke and Anakin.

For the record, Rey Kenobi was my hopes and dreams from TFA. To repair the damage Anakin did to his relationship with Obi Wan, their grandchildren coming together would have been a perfect balance. Rey Nobody wasn’t on my radar until TLJ, and then she was ripped away 😔
