#VeteransWeek is Nov 5-11. At @royhcrosbyps where there are military and veteran staff members and families, staff and students are remembering the service and sacrifice of military members and veterans by placing student hand-made poppies on the school lawn.

@royanlee Thanks for sharing this, as I’m about to apply to QECO soon...I’m worried they won’t count my MA or my 14 yrs of service with YRDSB because I wasn’t a ‘teacher ‘. I also don’t get how they aren’t linked to OCT- I have to send docs twice? So complicated 🤦🏻‍♀️

@sarafaulkner @jessewente @mcconnelltlss @agawap @NBascevan Over the past 5 yrs, we’ve used the desks from the boys school at Spanish, as a launching point to talk to students about Residentail Schools and the 1850 common schools act, which included the separate schools clause- to legally separate Catholics, Protestants and Blacks.
