@DrMattBinnicker I'd add immune status. Taking these variables into account in the evaluation of a patient, fair value can be given to these tests. The dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 will help shift our mind from dichotomy.

- if PCN allergy➡️allergy to ALL beta lactams
- if SSRI➡️never linezolid
- FQs: too toxic to use in outpt setting -- ever
- Never use nitrofurantoin w/⬇️GFR
- Linezolid is 💰
- Doxy is a "weak" abx
- Dental work + prosthetic joint = Abx
