@wmarybeard Thank you so much! This means so much to me coming from you!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard
I would like your opinion on something. I am a junior in a university (US), and I have decided that I want to pursue a PhD in classical history. But I am in my 40s and a mom. What is your opinion about older college students pursuing a PhD in the classics?

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@amwilson_opera @wmarybeard @TheCriticMag Classic music is a wonderful thing, it has been with me since I was 7, through it you can feel liberated and it's for everyone. I am a classically trained double bassist and after all these years ot still helps me, in my ups and downs! Music is a gift for everyone!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard I can't wait to watch on line from Texas! Also I think about the Roman Empire every single day.

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard Thank you for your reply, as always you have been an inspiration to me. I have always had a passion for ancient Rome and how it's voice has and continues to influence our own time now.

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard I have a question for you? What was your day to day life like as you embarked on the path of doing research in the classics, the everyday stuff, I would like to know what being a historian, and a researcher is really like, as this is the path I wish to take?

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@PhillipRCW I hope that you have the best of birthdays! You are awesome! No matter what anyone says you are awesome and worth it!

@FerriolAlex @Walmart That same thing happened to me..I don't understand why I was in put on a waiting line if it wasn't even in stock.

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@Walmart Thanks for your crap website that Walmart plus members couldn't get a ps5..gives a 10 minute timer for something that was not in stock at all! What a waste of my time.

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard Seriously?..there are always those unhappy miserable people who have nothing better to do than to whine and cry. They show how small their mind really is..

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard my husband got this for my birthday! What a great present! As always I know that I will enjoy this book, as all your books! You are truly an inspiration to me, a history major who is a fellow woman historian in the making!!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard Ahh yes it is truly a interesting thought if the mighty Roman empire engaged in battle with mythical Alexander! What a battle!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard I can't wait to get the book! This was brilliant and I look forward to reading another of your great books! As to those who say its boring..yeah I don't think they have read many books to begin with..you make the mighty Roman Empire come alive!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

The next book that I am reading!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@AntigoneJournal @wmarybeard @oxfordclassics Absolutely!! The study of Latin is most important! I look forward to when I get to read Ceasar's Galic Wars in Latin, to truly experience what he thought and felt! All aspiring classists should get the opportunity to learn this beautiful language!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard This is awesome! We need more minorities in the classics, as a member of a minority I am trying to hopefully show that we can do too! One day I will achieve my dream of getting a PhD in History. Thank you Mary Beard for being an inspiration to me who is a historian in the making!

[realArtemisward @artemis_ward]

@wmarybeard I can't wait to acquire another of your awesome books!
