One thing is abundantly clear.
If the genocide does last a year as Israel now threatens, and 200,000 Palestinian civilians die of bombardment, hunger and disease
the BBC will still be running regular Israeli puff pieces about October 7.
"Israelis marked a month since Hamas killed 1,400 people and kidnapped 240, starting a war in which 10,300 Palestinians are said to have died."
Nothing at all biased about this description in today's London @thetimes: complete neutral like the rest of their coverage. That's the trouble with Palestinians, isn't it, they just die? No one has to kill them. You just advert your gaze, lose all your journalistic integrity, humanity and compassion... and what do you know? Suddenly over ten thousand Palestinians are dead for no reason at all.
On January 13, 2004, British photographer and human rights activist Tom Hurndall died after being in a coma for nine months.
Hurndall was shot in the head by an Israeli sniper in April 2003 while trying to rescue children from Israeli gunfire in Gaza.
Employers said it would cost £1.5bn to deliver an inflation-level pay rise to all university staff
That's 3.75% of £40bn reserves
That's 1/3 of a £4.6bn spend on new buildings
That's half of last year's surplus cash
We aren't stupid. We know what we are worth.
