your past behavior has repeatedly shown the same patterns and frankly you need to seek actual help. i genuinely hope you do. i also hope other creators like necros stop endorsing this kind of parasocial and psychopathic behavior. grow up and do better.
if hamess forgives you, good for you, but we still donโt see you as someone mentally stable and mature enough to have a platform, speak for the community or represent @MarvelRivals. this isnโt just about your current situation, which could expose you to serious legal consequences
Hello everybody,
I made a mistake getting myself involved with this situation, and I want to apologize to Hamess. The way I handled the situation was stupid and I am deeply sorry to anyone this might have caused harm to. I would appreciate it if you guys could read this message.
First of all, I want to be transparent.
I am not considered a very PR-friendly streamer. I play for very long hours and I can get very toxic and frustrated. The best version of me is not always on display on my streams. Due to that, me and Hamess had beef in the past as I was toxic to him in one of my gaming sessions.
We ended up beefing, and due to that he gathered some of my toxic moments, some of which were taken out of context and looked exaggerated. These painted me as a very horrible person and in one of them, as a racist.
After our initial beef with each other, I was approached with Belle's story. In hindsight, I saw that as an opportunity because I had thought to myself: ''How can someone try to paint me as a racist and toxic when they've done something like this?''. It made me very gullible in this situation and I made a mistake thinking this way and I apologize for it.
I was blinded by our initial beef and my existing impression of Hamess. All I saw was someone that needed help and had gone through what was portrayed to be a very difficult experience. I had failed to properly verify these claims before involving myself.
My failure to do so caused false information to be spread, as much as that falls on me. I now know that I was given a false narrative and the person whom I thought was confiding in me was not being truthful.
I never fabricated or made up any allegations. I became involved and helped communicate false information due to what I said above, I take responsibility for that and I truly apologize for it.
I also acknowledge that accusations like these have consequences, not just for the person being accused, but for everyone involved in making or spreading them. Regardless of how I felt about Hamess or the posts he had made about me, I should never have allowed that personal history to influence my judgment.
As for the stream yesterday, I wanted to go live to put out my side of the story. I believed that some of the claims being made were untrue and wanted to defend myself. Particularly regarding the allegations about my involvement and the claim that I am racist. I'm not a saint on stream, and some of the criticism directed at me is fair. But I also think that there were some exaggerations made regarding my participation in it, and I wanted to clarify that yesterday.
But honestly, I was over-stimulated and very overwhelmed yesterday. I made things worse, I was defensive and deflective instead of doing what I should have done which was to take accountability. I apologize to everyone who came in expecting more of me, I was overwhelmed by the amount of people addressing it and I let it get to me. I should have done better.
Hamess, I am sorry.
You did not ask for all this, and you certainly did not deserve such a situation. I feel regret because I was involved in it and I take responsibility for my actions. I was really misled regarding certain aspects of the situation, but that does not take away that I still could have done better with it. Being misled does not remove my responsibility for becoming involved without properly verifying what I was being told. I hope that you will forgive me someday for this. I should have been better, regardless of everything that happened beforehand.
Furthermore,
I take full responsibility for the mistakes I've made, I believe we have enough negativity going around in the community and as far as this situation goes, I hope for it to end with the negativity that is directed at me.
Lastly, I want to apologize to the people associated with me who are being dragged into this because of my actions.
To my Hypertune teammates, I have chosen to take a step back from the Hypertune team and brand to allow them to focus on the great things they have been doing and will continue to do in Marvel Rivals Ignite and as a product in the space. I don't want my actions to take away from or become a distraction from the hard work that they are doing. I care about these people, and I don't want them to have to deal with the consequences of my mistake.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this.
This situation does not define who I am, I am far from perfect and I understand the criticism.
Take care, everyone. I will be taking some time away to properly reflect on what happened and learn from this experience.
@hamess___@MarvelRivals@zingodude Iโm honestly surprised that VirtualGemma is still representing your game as a partner, especially given her repeated inappropriate behavior. Neither she nor Imperator should be given a platform or an official voice as representatives of the game.
@hamess___@MarvelRivals@hypertune_@zingodude I would strongly encourage you to reconsider Imperator and carefully assess whether his conduct aligns with the values and standards you want your brand to represent. He is not someone who should be around communities
@ashIyne girl why did they whitewash you? you have such a beautiful natural skin tone. the overly smooth effect takes away from your natural beauty too :(
@PlayOverwatch@le_sserafim i guess iโll be saving money this time cuz none of the heroes i actually play are here, except or one and even that skin is painfully mid. also spare us the โlimitedโ label. we all know youโre going to bring these skins back a hundred times throughout the year anyway.
