While fishermen in small boats were being aided by the Philippine Coast Guard, a Chinese vessel harassed them by firing water cannons in a deliberate attempt to interfere with the assistance effort.
🚨THE PATTERN BEHIND THE PRESSURE | First a patrol. Then a barrier. Then a structure.
This is how illegal claims are normalized, not through law, but through repetition.
While China continues to send military and coast guard vessels into the West Philippine Sea, it also pushes a familiar narrative: deny the facts, attack the messenger, and repeat the claim until the world stops paying attention.
But the facts remain unchanged.
Scarborough Shoal lies within the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone. The 2016 Arbitral Award rejected China's sweeping maritime claims. No amount of propaganda can rewrite international law.
To our fellow Filipinos: stay informed, stay vigilant, and never allow unlawful actions to become "normal."
To those spreading false narratives: the world is watching, and the facts are on record.
📢 Watch. Share. Expose the deception. Defend the truth.

@gpblaw Because tree spirits serve as eternal guardians of the forest’s living essence, legends across cultures abound with grim warnings: those who fell their trees or forget to honor them invite misfortune, decay, and the wrath of the woods themselves.
@BINI_NenengH We should be thankful for He has given us a merciful heart. A heart like His. Whenever we feel mercy for others, the living God is truly alive within us! And everyone is blessed by it.
THEY PAVED PARADISE AND PUT UP A SKYWAY
I condemn the DENR for allowing the tree-cutting and earth-balling of HUNDREDS OF TREES along Quirino Avenue in Manila City.
All of these trees cut.
Just to pave the way for the construction of the “Southern Access Link Expressway” (SALEX) by San Miguel Corporation.
The SALEX spans a measly 4 kilometers but four elevated lanes.
A total of 617 trees will be affected.
617 trees — all of it for just 4 kilometers of an expressway which will never reduce traffic because all expressways have been proven to actually induce demand for automobiles according to empirical research and scientific studies.
Hundreds of trees have ALREADY been cut but hundreds more will be cut in the next few days.
I call on President Bongbong Marcos, the DENR, SMC, and the City of Manila to stop this madness.
SAVE THE TREES!
