@LottoLabs@venturetwins Something like that, but more like "a service that trusts me is sending you a random piece of clothing in your size they found at a thrift store. Show me a photo of it."
@richburroughs@fivetanley I've had this issue lately riiight at the start of the work day when I think about one of the 7 non-work projects I have going right after the pills start working. Then suddenly it's 2pm.
ICY you wondered: we achieved 100% RE match in 2017.
Azure: carbon neutral via offsets only, announced 60% RE match goal for 2020, unclear on timeline for 100%.
AWS: not carbon neutral, 50% RE in 2019, undefined timeline for 100%.
@jackbootedthot@therealfitz (4/4) We'll review the tooling and processes around this so we do the right thing the first time more often. Suggestions are always welcome, and my (brilliant) VP @nandaatul is very much engaged and listening.
@jackbootedthot@therealfitz (1/4) TSE here, just my opinions. Most of our time goes to the largest accounts who give us the most money (8 figures monthly+), naturally, but we do regularly screen cases owned by newer support folks for escalation as needed.
@jackbootedthot@therealfitz (3/4) In this particular case, it started out just like someone "skipping" the economy check-in line because they had a business-class fare, but then the agent mis-read the ticket and told them they'd need to wait. Our mistake entirely.
@jackbootedthot@therealfitz (2/4) Our main constraint these days is hiring, and getting the number of people we need at the quality we need is a necessarily careful process. We pay quite well and we always need folks with strong SRE/SWE/devops backgrounds. Offices all over the world.
@xpollen8 I'm pretty sure my sets in 2000 were cringeworthy, but it doesn't matter because I put Cornelius, Pizzicato Five, and Apples in Stereo onto airwaves of the Midwest. Worth it!
@elonmusk Someone told me if I drive 88mph with my cowbells for two minutes, it'll enable the Spotify app, but I can't get it to work. Am I missing something?
@realchrisebert@abeisgreat@rakyll That's the thing. At Google, we do generally feel safe in speaking up because we've learned that it actually helps us arrive at real solution through dialog.
My sincere thanks to @TMobile for allowing me to roam from Mexico City *and* tether, which is proving to be much faster than the wifi provided at the @HyattTweets Hyatt Regency.
