The InternalBrace surgical technique is intended only to augment the primary repair/reconstruction by expanding the area of tissue approximation during the healing period and is not intended as a replacement for the native ligament. The InternalBrace technique is for use during soft tissue-to-bone fixation procedures and is not cleared for bone-to-bone fixation.

Through a collaboration with Florida Gulf Coast University and Arthrex, students enrolled in the FGCU Medical Device Professional Sales class are introduced to professional selling careers related to medical devices, providing them class room instruction as well as experiential learning opportunities that seek to mimic what the students would experience as a future employee.
To earn the Medical Device Professional Sales digital badge, students recently traveled to the Arthrex Naples campus to participate in a digital badge assessment. The assessment consists of a three-part simulation exam where the students tested their skills performing a product presentation, providing technical support for a mock surgical case and interviewing for a role as an Arthrex Technology Consultant. During each of the stages students were observed and evaluated over a live video feed by Arthrex team members and FGCU academic leaders.
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the assessment and successfully completed the requirements to earn the digital badge recognition!
