This morning, I appeared before Parliament's Appointments Committee chaired by Rt. Hon. @AnitahAmong the Speaker of Parliament, to be vetted following my appointment as Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development (Youth and Children).

I thank the Speaker, Hon @DaudiKabanda, Hon @MathiasMpuuga and the rest of the Committee members for their warm reception.

Special thanks to Mr Twala Fadhil and all other friends and honourable colleagues for their support.

I am here to solve the challenges of the youth and children which include among others unemployment, lack of practical skills, and teenage pregnancies.
