La firme s’intéresse à PrismML, une start-up capable de compresser un modèle de langage de 54 Go à seulement 4 Go, sans perte notable de performances.
Si cette technologie tient ses promesses, des IA bien plus puissantes pourraient fonctionner directement sur un iPhone, sans connexion au cloud.

À mes yeux, c’est probablement l’une des avancées les plus stratégiques pour l’avenir d’Apple Intelligence.

Apple a-t-elle raison de privilégier cette stratégie ?

@nikitabier @justalexoki You already implemented attestation a couple weeks ago to stop modified Twitter/X clients. There’s no reason you couldn’t just use the True/False FaceID API combined with attestation to solve this. At least on iOS.

@ronuhz @durreadan01 Mines still downloading and I’ve already used playlist playground. So I think that feature uses pcc but isn’t tied to having Apple Intelligence activated in order to use.

@entropy7th @mweinbach On beta 1, you had to manually add the delivery to the wallet by looking at the first email the delivery company sends you. There would be a “track in wallet” button that would pop up. After that, it will scan any emails you get about that delivery and update the status in wallet
