GROK BOT GALAXY
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: Day 1–3 livestream sessions + Grok Bot Galaxy bookmark folder (103 posts, user-X MCP)
NEW TODAY
- Folder 103 posts (+1 vs 102).
- Testers (DAIEvolutionHub / Lauren Tan): skip 1-agent mode; run CoS + PM + 20+ workers with loop & graph.
FIRST DUMP — Day 1
- Livestream demo (Day 1): Grok Bot Galaxy opened as a standing how-to topic — treat like SpaceX/Starship/Tesla folders. Three-day event framing: a small team building a company/product in three days with Grok Bot.
- Livestream demo (101): Grok Bot pitched as a team of extraordinarily capable AI agents, not one single assistant. Create a bot by naming it, teaching it your style, and giving it a goal; then let it take on real work.
- Livestream demo (101): Bots work in parallel across apps, tools, and websites already in use; message them like teammates; they keep context in memory and improve as they go.
- Livestream demo (101 closing): Bots can access every tool — even tools without MCPs (Google Form demo; slide said this can extend to research tools such as Qualtrics). Bots learn from video teachings. External-facing actions should require human approval.
- Livestream demo (Eng): AI Maturity Curve — Autocomplete (Cursor Tab) → Ask & Edit (Cursor Agent) → Agentic Coding (Cursor 3) → Automations (Cursor Cloud Agent) → Autonomous Coding (Grok Bot).
- Livestream demo (PM): Three PM primitives — Attention List, Research across customer context, Shipping (Grok Bot claimed as a double-digit % of internal merged PRs).
- Livestream demo (Founders): Multi-agent org live — CoS (steve) orchestrating specialists; Meet the crew: Close Bot, Prod Bot, Stalk Bot, Proto Bot, YapBot. Cost tip slide: “Routines are awesome (but audit them!)”.
- Refresh 2026-09-15: first folder scrape merged — 23/+23 bookmark posts (signed-in website); see PRIOR FOLDER MERGE.
- Refresh 2026-09-16: 39/+16 folder posts; Day 1 notes pack / cost tips / timestamps (see PRIOR 0916 highlights below).
- Refresh 2026-09-19: 102/+13 folder posts; CoS stop wall + eng CI/eval guardrails + Blake post-sales (see PRIOR 0919).

DAY 1–3 KEEP
- Multi-bot fleets; message like teammates; memory + routines; Shareable Templates; Away mode; audit routines
- Eng maturity Autocomplete→…→Autonomous; PM Attention List · Research · Shipping; Founders CoS crew
- Day 2: SDR / Sales / Support; Day 3: Mkt Ops / Post-Sales / Marketing / Wrap
PRIOR FOLDER MERGE (2026-09-15 · 23/+23)
PLATFORM pop-up company (tester claim)
- [T] oneillund: after ~5h of stream, spotted live company name PLATFORM; slogan “Spin up a stall. Own the night.”; concept connects chefs, venue landlords, food-industry workers, and operators to launch city food pop-ups; site https://t.co/Y6LvquKQUp; verification timestamp cited ~5:16:55 into the broadcast.
Operating model + builders
- [T] 0xMorlex: operating model Human → sets direction · Grok Bot → holds context + coordinates · Specialist agents → execute · Humans → review, redirect, approve. Agent-native company from day one (product/research/eng/ops routed through same system), not isolated “ask an agent to write some code.”
- Builders named across folder posts: Matt Palmer, Lauren Tan, Roshan Sadanani (SpaceXAI engineers building live with Grok Bot as AI workforce). Also referenced as mattyp / poteto / roshan_s in tune-in posts.
WHAT IT IS
- Livestream demo (101 / Founders “Introducing Grok Bot”): Create bots for different jobs; message bots like teammates; bots keep context in memory and improve; bots can be logged into your tools and use them like you do; automations/routines; share bots / shareable workflows / Shareable Templates.
- Livestream demo (Why Grok Bot slide — 101 + Founders): Easy as iMessage; Always-on agents (24/7); Uses your tools like you; Finishes the work; Shareable workflows / Shareable Templates.
- Livestream demo (“Finishes the work”): create bots for different jobs, give direction and let them figure it out, then set up automations and routines.
- Livestream demo (Eng Why Grok Bot): No more caffeinated laptop; Beautifully available to all platforms; Control computer when needed; First-party coding agent integration.
- Event framing (livestream): three-person team attempting to build a company/product in three days with Grok Bot; public X broadcast with “Grok Bot Galaxy” backdrop.
- [T] Folder reinforcement: agent-native operating model (Human→Bot→specialists→humans); live build company name PLATFORM (tester claim).
- Do not treat audience chat as product claims (buffering complaints, note-taking suggestions, Cursor/subscription questions, brand-partnership asks were chat — not slides/demos).
HOW IT WORKS / MULTI-BOT TEAMS
- Livestream demo (101): Separate bots for separate jobs — left-side list with email/comms and slide bots; named work bots on demo slide included Sales Outbound, Chief of Staff, Inbox Manager, Website designer, and Debug.
- Livestream demo (101 multi-bot): Shared conversation with Amrita Venkataraman plus Email Ethan, Data Dan, and Slide Sonya; Members panel with Add Member.
- Email Ethan: drafts external notes/emails; outbound emails require Amrita’s approval before anything leaves.
- Data Dan: numbers, surveys, charts; handed off Coffee Data (n=100, avg ~1.9 cups/day, median 2, mode 3; buckets 0→8, 1→23, 2→29, 3→32).
- Slide Sonya: owned the Grok Bot 101 deck and new slides; created a chart on the last slide from Coffee Data before Ethan emailed Jason.
- Multi-bot action pattern (livestream): assign each bot a narrow role, pass structured outputs between them, gate external communications on human approval, and sequence dependent work (chart first, email second).
- Livestream demo (Eng Meet the team): Lingxixi — Chief of Staff; Craig — UI Engineer; Steve — Devex Engineer; Hogan — Infra Engineer; Jenny — Head of Operations.
- Livestream demo (Eng / Founders live fleet): steve (chief of staff), tater (engineer), hashbrown (reviewer), mash, prototyper/grokpot, PlanetScale Bot; Founders roster also showed Founding Eng, Growth Eng, Knowledge Base Manager, Creative Director, drop (merch), foil (tickets), Sip, and more.
- Livestream demo (Founders CoS handoff): “Needs your attention” — sign in to tdraw, then “I’m done, continue” / Skip; agent creates share link after human auth.
- Livestream demo (PM lessons): Named agents + separate memory (broad mission, scoped memory); Agents all the way down — EM agents manage IC agents that spin Cloud Agents; hierarchy beats one mega-prompt.
- Livestream tip (Eng): “restate in your own words before executing.”
- Dashboard snapshots (livestream demos, not Official product SLA): Eng ~24 Bots / 353 Messages / 2 Working / 17 Active; Founders ~27 Bots / 910 Messages / 3 Working / 12 Active.
- [T] kloss_xyz / lingxi: fleet onboarding via one-message rules; bots detect rule conflicts; 22-rule playbook pattern.
- [T] 0xMorlex: Human sets direction → Bot coordinates → specialists execute → humans approve.
COMMON USE CASES
- Livestream slide “Grok Bot: Common Use Cases” organized by GTM, Engineering, Marketing, and Admins.
- GTM — Account Health and Sales Outbound (livestream): pipeline built overnight; follow-ups drafted after every call; CRM kept current; outreach shipped in the user’s voice ready for review.
- Sales Outbound demo (livestream): overnight pipeline/outbound — research prospects on the web, gather contact/account info from Salesforce, draft email in the user’s voice, check/update daily; routines included a morning outbound queue and an end-of-day send list; connected Gmail + Salesforce shown.
SETUP AND ONBOARDING
[] Livestream demo: first-time setup asks “What do you mainly want me for? Whatever you pick, we can refine from there.”
[] Setup choices shown: Data & analysis (spreadsheets, metrics, charts); Research & digests; Workflows & routines (recurring checks, reminders, automated follow-ups); or Something else (free-text).
[] Second create screen categories visible: Work & projects, Customer support, Research & …, Coding & tools, Not sure yet (exact small labels partly GAP).
APPROVALS AND SAFETY
[] Livestream demo (Google Form): bot surfaced an explicit action card with Approve and Deny before the computer/browser task — computer actions are not silently assumed.
[] Action-history statuses shown: “Allowed once,” “Auto-review Paused This Action,” “Expired”; task runs on Grok Bot’s computer; live view of the bot’s computer/Google Forms made the external action inspectable.
[] Tip: Review action history/status; one-time permission, paused review, and expiry are distinct states — do not treat them as completion.
ENGINEERING SESSION
- Livestream slide “Engineering Use Cases” / “Get Things Done when I am away”: instead of sitting in front of the computer to follow up with cloud agents, bots examine transcripts, read screenshots/proofs, and push back on your behalf.
- Nightly Code Cleanup (livestream): every night at 3 a.m., bot researches the repo for quality gaps / improvements, then hands PRs when you wake.
- TestFlight Seat Management (livestream): previously needed an internal tool for adding people via email; with Grok Bot, tell it the goal, have it build the MCPs, and automatically listen on Slack for requests.
PRODUCT / PM SESSION
- Livestream slide “PM use cases: Three primitives that change how PMs work”:
- 01 Attention List — filter Slack/email/meetings/Granola noise; surface focus; compare stated goals vs where time went.
- 02 Research across customer context — Gong, Granola, Salesforce, Notion, support tickets, user research DB; synthesize where customers get stuck in the funnel.
- 03 Shipping — Grok Bot represents a double-digit % of internal merged PRs; PMs express goals; agents decompose/allocate/review/integrate via Cloud Agents with codebase + secrets.
- Live product example (livestream demo numbers, not Official public metrics): 1,453 ticket purchases Mon Sep 14; Mobile 612 (42%); Web 841 (58%); fare-select friction can delay booking when mobile is close.
- Priorities visible: P0 Fare select (must ship); P1 Keep mid-funnel healthy; P2 Seat (optional).
FOUNDERS SESSION
- Livestream: Founders began after BRB interstitial; multi-person panel (chat referenced Eric / trykarat / Karat shirt — stage names not captioned on screen).
- Agenda slide (livestream): Quick Intro; What Can Grok Bot do?; Why Grok Bot; Founder Demos; Power User Tips; Recap; Q&A.
- Multi-agent org (livestream demos + audience framing): Brand/Coach/Work/Research; live roster examples Founding Eng, Growth Eng, Knowledge Base Manager, Creative Director; CoS pattern — start with Chief of Staff and have it recommend when other agents should spin up (audience pattern noted; live demo used steve as CoS).
TIPS AND PITFALLS
[] Livestream: one bot, one narrow job; pass structured handoffs; sequence dependents; gate outbound send/publish/spend on human approval.
[] Livestream (Eng): treat bots like interns; think one level further when unblocks repeat; start with a feedback loop; restate before executing; human-owned merges.
[] Livestream (PM): teach style from past Slack; silence is a feature for CoS; hierarchy of agents beats one mega-prompt.
GAPS
- Opening minutes of 101 and spoken narration across sessions: no captions/transcript; only slide/UI-corroborated claims kept.
- Small on-screen text often illegible (routine times, settings toggle semantics, coffee-form question wording, some category labels, panel answers in Q&A).
- Eng/PM/Founders: multiple Chrome memory-pressure tab discards and Aw Snap error 9 crashes; intervening content unobserved.
MULTIPLANET CIVILIZATION
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: your Multiplanet Civilization + Multiplanet Civilixation + Starship + Starbase + Spaceport + NASA + Space Economy + Space Technology + Space + Universe + Milky-way Galaxy + Asteroid Mining + Von Neumann Probe + Starfall bookmark folders (675 unique). Typo twin Civilixation is included. Not Starship-only, not SpaceX launches. Not the Mars / Moon / Earth / Civilization / SpaceX / Grok / Tesla folders.
NEW TODAY
- 4 new since 2026-09-19 across 14 folders (merged unique now 675; prev 671).
- Testers (WR4NYGov, Sep 19): quotes CernBasher — “The Most Dangerous AI Isn’t Evil. It’s Honest.” (civilization / honest-AI framing).
- Official NASA (NASASpaceOps, Sep 18): awards SpaceX three more Commercial Crew (CCtCap) ISS missions — SpaceX total → 17.
- Starship folder +2 (reusable unlock for Mars; Flight 14 NET Sep 28, Flight 15 late Oct if smooth; five launches in 2026 still possible) — flight detail stays in the Starship how-to (Testers teslaownersSV / LunarCitizens).
WHAT IT IS
- Testers (WR4NYGov) (Sep 19): quotes CernBasher — honest AI as the dangerous kind (civilization / intelligence framing in this folder).
- Testers (XFreeze) (Sep 17–18): Terafab as next step toward a galactic civilization; create the future you want to predict — civilization framing beyond multiplanet.
- Testers (XFreeze) (Sep 18): Starship is beautiful because every part exists to make life multi-planetary — civilization framing, not a flight log.
- Combined civilization note: settlement, cadence, NASA Moon path, space economy/tech, universe/galaxy scale, asteroid mining, self-replicating probes, and Starfall microgravity manufacturing. Starship is the truck, not the whole map.
- Testers (LaceyPresley) (Sep 16): interests span Space/AI/SpaceX/Mars/physics/black holes/dark matter/galaxy structure/Kardashev civilizations — “how far intelligence can actually extend the light.” Tester framing of the civilization beat.
- Official elonmusk: it is impossible to become a multiplanet civilization without reusable rockets (same as colonizing America with expendable boats). Starship is designed 100% reusable and ultimately ready to refly within an hour — “the key to becoming a multiplanet civilization.” Level 9: make humanity a multiplanet species and a true spacefaring civilization.
- Official elonmusk (Aug 25): Starship 4 tonnage (over 2M t/year to orbit) is framed as a Kardashev-2 step, not a PR flight.
- Typo twin Civilixation is four extra posts (Kardashev scale, two self-sustaining planets, Andromeda). Keep the folder title exact. Not the separate Civilization / Mars / Moon / Earth / SpaceX product folders.
HOW TO USE / WHY IT MATTERS
- Elon framing in this dump: a single planet is a single point of failure; reusable heavy lift is the metric that actually moves the civilization needle; inspiring future > insurance-policy future, but both show up.
- Read this note for Moon base / Mars settlement / cadence / Kardashev / ISRU / probes. For Flight 12–15 windows, Ship 40/42, Raptor counts, catch months — use the Starship how-to. One light pointer only, on purpose.
- Official vs Testers: Official = elonmusk, SpaceX, NASA when they are the author. Isaacman / NASAAdmin / Starlink / governors / testers quoting Elon are labeled Testers unless the author is one of those three.
- Watch Official SpaceX for Starbase Louisiana and Starship streams. Watch Official NASA for Artemis. Treat tester NETs, acreage, $100B, 30 flights/day, 2027/2028/2029 calendars as Testers until Official restates.
MARS
- Testers (LaceyPresley) (Sep 18): Curiosity cryptic carbonates — nearly pure siderite in Mount Sharp sulfate rocks; may account for some of early Mars’ “missing” CO₂ locked into crust (tester science framing).
- Testers (jessbordiu) (Sep 18): NASA Mars images from a screen — another planet, another sky; how ordinary extraordinary feels (tester framing).
- Testers (LaceyPresley) (Sep 14): Mars doesn’t become a civilization because a few people land there. It becomes one when the tonnage starts moving. Elon’s point is simple: if the goal is a self-growing civilization-not tourism-you…
- Testers (iam_smx) (Sep 12): 👨🦰: “I feel like everyone’s focused on the Moon now. It’s like they’ve forgotten about Mars.” Elon Musk: “We’re still going to Mars, and we’ll die trying.” SpaceX: “Goddamn right…
- Testers (LaceyPresley) (Sep 9): 1,000 Starships a year is not 1,000 launches a year. It is the build rate required by the window. Earth and Mars only line up for cheap transfer about every 26 months. A city does…
- Official elonmusk (Sep 6): Extending consciousness to the Moon and Mars takes a lot of mass
- Official elonmusk: reusable rockets are required for a multiplanet civilization; Starship is “the only way.” Testers quote him: Starship is the difference between multiplanet and single-planet; building a new world on Mars is now possible.
- Testers (XFreeze, Aug 30): real progress = how fast a self-sustaining civilization can be built on Mars; two strong planets for long-term survival. Tester framing.
- Testers (AFITR_DAO / AIVantasd, Aug 29–30): Starship turns Mars from a dream / sci-fi into a destination and a transportation problem. Testers (XFreeze, Civilixation folder): two self-sustaining, strong planets for long-term survival — “exactly what Starship is being built for.”
- Testers (teslaownersSV): cost per kg is the number that enables Mars, lunar bases, and orbital industry (Falcon 9 ~$1,500/kg vs Shuttle-era ~$54,500; Starship target under $100). Tester math, not Official prices here.
- Do not treat KiwiThinker-style 2026 uncrewed-Mars odds from other notes as a plan. This dump does not lock a Mars transfer year.
MOON
- Testers (outerspacetoday) (Sep 17): Artemis III 2027 as three-rocket Earth-orbit rehearsal (Blue Moon + Orion + Starship V3 nose-to-nose dock); crewed lunar landing still cited Artemis IV 2028. Tester NASA-recap, not Official NASA.
- Testers (MarsUniversityX) (Sep 13): Elon Musk’s vision for humanity’s future: “I really want to see the mass driver on the Moon, that is shooting AI satellites into deep space - whoosh… whoosh… whoosh....one after another" A…
- Official elonmusk (Aug 1): “The Moon base will be even more epic.”
- Official NASA (Apr 1, 2026): Artemis II four-astronaut crew, ~10-day mission around the Moon, “closer to living on the Moon and Mars.” Official NASA (Apr 6): far-side flyby, farthest humans from Earth. Official NASA (Apr 11): splashdown photos still rolling in.
- Testers (XFreeze, Aug 28): Isaacman path — Artemis III 2027 systems test, Artemis IV 2028 crew on the surface, then robotic landers/rovers and an enduring Moon base. Testers (cb_doge, Aug 5): Isaacman says fully reusable Starship is what lets a Moon base grow toward a small city. Testers (DimaZeniuk): Moon Base Alpha as the post-Apollo science station, Starships on the lunar surface to build and support it. Tester claims / recaps, not Official NASA posts of those dates.
- Official elonmusk (Feb 9): Starship V4 tanker >200 tons propellant per flight; 5–6 tankers to refill a lunar-transit Starship if doing more than 10k flights/year.
SHIPS / STARSHIP-AS-SETTLEMENT
- Light pointer: Starship folder now 336 (+2 today). Testers (teslaownersSV): Starship becoming reusable is the unlock to Mars. Testers (LunarCitizens): Flight 14 NET Sep 28 → Flight 15 late Oct / five launches in 2026 still possible — full digest in Starship how-to. Do not duplicate the flight log here.
- Testers (XFreeze) (Sep 11): Starship is one of the most incredible machines humanity has ever built... a machine designed to turn the impossible into infrastructure It is the most complex vehicle ever create…
- Testers (xavierseehorn) (Sep 10): 🚀 5 DAYS! We’re only 5 days away from the potential Starship Flight 14. For the first time, Starship is aiming for true orbital insertion. This could go down as a watermark moment…
- Testers (interstellargw) (Sep 10): SpaceX HWY 4 Expansion: Approx. 2.8 miles of HWY 4 is being expanded from ~36ft in width to up to 78ft in some areas along the route. A secondary road is being added parallel to H…
- Official elonmusk (Sep 9): Stainless Steel Starship & Cybertruck
- Vehicle that has to exist for the rest of this note to be real. Full reusability, ~100 people class, no single point of failure — Elon lines already in the Starship how-to.
- Light current pointer only: Testers (FelixSchlang, Sep 9): Ship 42 to Massey’s for more testing; both Flight 15 vehicles there together — detail stays in the Starship how-to. Official SpaceX (Aug 27) Ship 40 loaded on a semi-submersible for a several-month haul back to Starbase. Official elonmusk (Aug 20): probably catch the ship with the tower in a few months; first reflight end-2026 / early-2027 — “a fork in the road of history for consciousness reaching the stars.” Official elonmusk (Aug 29): V3 capacity vs Falcon 1 / orbital AI.
- Testers (LunarCitizens): 4 Starship launch sites, 15 pads planned; Pad 1 / LC-39A / SLC-37A expected online by end of 2027. Tester site list, not a live Official cadence.
- Flight-by-flight, Raptor counts, Flight 15 window → Starship note.
STARBASE / SPACEPORT
- Testers (LunarCitizens) (Sep 18): ~230-acre construction footprint visible; ~1 month of work; road prioritized toward the ship channel as a possible Starship transport route. Tester site read, not Official SpaceX.
- Testers (LunarCitizens) (Sep 17): SpaceX hiring Civil Engineer in Pecan Island, LA — second orbital launch pad + supporting infrastructure; stays Starbase TX until 2027, then Louisiana. Tester careers post, not Official SpaceX announcement.
- Testers (thelacoast) (Sep 18): Starbase LA render overlaid on map; launch-complex footprint matches soil borings + canals; no new permits this week — conceptual render only.
- Testers (XEthanai) (Sep 16): Elon & Everyday Astronaut talking Raptor is pure gold — Starbase walkthrough: Raptor 1 “Christmas tree” → Raptor 2 looks unfinished but is finished. Tester recap of classic walkthrough.
- Testers (LunarCitizens) (Sep 10): Louisiana Starbase update: The External Affairs Manager role for Pecan Island, previously listed on SpaceX’s official careers site, has been taken down. It may mean SpaceX has filled the role. Next, watch for the permit…
- Testers (interstellargw) (Sep 10): SpaceX HWY 4 Expansion: Approx. 2.8 miles of HWY 4 is being expanded from ~36ft in width to up to 78ft in some areas along the route. A secondary road is being added parallel to HWY 4 exclusively for Starship transport…
- Testers (LunarCitizens) (Sep 9): Starbase Louisiana’s planned land area is ~125,000 acres, about 110–135× larger than the entire City of Starbase, Texas.
- Testers (LunarCitizens) (Sep 8): Texas Starbase may remain an R&D and manufacturing site, not Starship’s high-cadence launch port. FAA’s current environmental limits: Texas gets 25 launches/year across 2 pads; Fl…
- Official SpaceX (Aug 25): Starbase, Louisiana — high-cadence Starship site, pathway to the stars; thanks Louisiana.
- Testers (RGVaerialphotos, Aug 30): early-days aerial pair — Texas site 2018 vs Louisiana site 2026 for multi-year before/after.
- Official elonmusk (Aug 26): “It’s a great location for a wide range of azimuths.” (reply on sun-sync / orbital datacenter azimuth — tester prompt, Official yes on the site).
- Testers on the Louisiana plan (not Official numbers unless restated): ≥$100B, Vermilion Parish / Pecan Island, ~125,000 acres / ~195 sq mi, ~10 pads in five pairs, Starfactory + Terabay, on-site power, natural gas → liquid methane, deep-water port, airport, housing; construction 2027, first Starship launch cited 2029; thousands of flights/year / 30 per day / a launch every ~48 minutes if that cadence holds; 3,000+ jobs. Testers (MarioNawfal, niccruzpatane, XFreeze, pbeisel, tslaming, WOLF_Financial, LaceyPresley).
- Testers (Starlink, Aug 27): 50% off Residential Starlink for Vermilion Parish neighbors. Testers (teslaownersSV): same spaceport expansion note. Testers (BassonBrain): Gov. Landry — some permits maybe within 6 months; storm-hardened (Landry via testers).
- City of Starbase, Texas (Testers): became a city May 2025; ~500 residents; PD standing up (chief + 8 officers) and Cybertruck patrol rigs. Production/pad notes at Boca Chica stay in the Starship / Starbase-tracking posts — do not duplicate the flight log.
NASA
- Official NASA (NASASpaceOps) (Sep 18): awards SpaceX three additional Commercial Crew (CCtCap) missions for ISS crew transport — SpaceX total → 17; maintains dual commercial crew partners.
- Testers (SawyerMerritt) (Sep 18): NASA awards SpaceX ~$946M for three launch-services missions through 2030 (ground/launch/in-orbit/return, cargo, ISS lifeboat). Tester contract note — confirm on Official NASA / SpaceX.
- Testers (outerspacetoday) (Sep 17): Artemis III 2027 dual-architecture rehearsal (Blue Moon + Starship) — see MOON.
- Testers (atensnut) (Sep 14): NASA’s Jared Isaacman just laid out the vision for “Nuclear NASA” at the All-In Summit and it’s incredible! In 2028, they’re launching SR-1 Freedom, a nuclear fission reactor headed to Mars with…
- Testers (latestinspace) (Sep 15): 🚨 NASA is sending helicopters back to Mars • 3 of them will be strapped to a nuclear-powered spacecraft • First nuclear-powered interplanetary spacecraft in over 60 years • The helicopters will be…
- Testers (outerspacetoday) (Sep 14): JUST IN FROM THE ALL-IN SUMMIT: NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman just laid out his vision for America’s next phase in space. Among his most notable remarks: • NASA expects “dozens of landers” and…
- Testers (Erdayastronaut) (Sep 14): Great news! The launch of Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope was so accurate (thanks SpaceX Falcon Heavy), as well as an accurate mid course correction means ROMAN could have a 22 year life span with…
- Official NASA: Artemis II flew (Apr 2026) — around the Moon, far-side, splashdown coverage.
- Testers (RadioGalaxy16ly, Aug 30): Roman Space Telescope ~9,174 kg — heaviest craft cited for Sun–Earth L2 (vs JWST ~6,200 kg). Tester mass note alongside the Falcon Heavy / 39A window chatter.
- Testers (XFreeze / nicksortor, Aug 28): Administrator Isaacman touring Mission Control with the President; Isaacman Moon-return path as above. Testers (RapidResponse47 / MilkRoadAI, Mar–Apr): Isaacman called Artemis II the most important human flight in >50 years, then Earth-orbit HLS demo, then 2028 landing; “humanity’s first permanent surface outpost beyond Earth” (tester recap of Isaacman, not an Official NASA post in this scrape).
- Testers (joehansen, Aug 29): Falcon Heavy / NASA Roman Space Telescope on 39A — Elon flagged a science launch; tester says liftoff ~7:26 a.m. ET Sunday if weather holds. Use Official NASA / SpaceX for the actual window.
- Crew-11 / ISS asides in this folder are Testers.
- Testers (Dr_Singularity) (Sep 10): More compute. More energy. More robots. More science. More factories. More intelligence. More breakthroughs. All diseases cured. Extreme Abundance for all 8.3 Billion people.
ENERGY
- Official elonmusk: Starship 4 → over 2M tons/year to orbit as a Kardashev-2 step.
- Testers (StarioniX, Civilixation folder, Aug 17): Elon referenced the Kardashev scale at a SpaceX IPO talk; humanity ~0.73, not yet Type I. Official elonmusk quote-yes on that post. Testers (teslaownersSV): stuck ~Type 0.7; Starship as the Type II truck (full solar output ~3.8e26 W cited). Testers (pepisky, Aug 30): we talk multiplanetary while barely harnessing the energy already on the board.
- Testers (RyanKriser): read the Louisiana site plan for power plants and methane, not only the $100B headline. Bottleneck is energy + logistics, not the rocket drawing.
SPACE ECONOMY / TECH
- Testers (joehansen, Space Economy II + V): almost everything in space still started on Earth; even cheap Starship does not erase the gravity well. Next step is ISRU — ice → propellant, metals refined on the asteroid and left in orbit, Starship as the mover — plus a way to price/buy/sell mass in cislunar space (tester “private digital currency in space”). Not Official.
- Testers (spaceandtech_): Pulsar Fusion Sunbird — deuterium/helium-3 Dual Direct Fusion Drive tug concept; Pluto in ~four years; orbital demos cited 2027. Tester/concept, not flying hardware in this dump.
- Testers (LaceyPresley): space as infrastructure for energy, scale, bandwidth, autonomy — intelligence that will not fit on Earth alone.
ASTEROID MINING
- Testers (JoelSercel, Mar 18): plan to capture a small near-Earth asteroid and bring it into Earth orbit as the first step toward industrial infrastructure in space (“New Moon” mission). One post in this dump. Not Official.
VON NEUMANN PROBES
- Official elonmusk (Mar 21): Optimus + PV (photovoltaic) = first Von Neumann probe — a machine that can copy itself from raw materials found in space.
- Testers (tslaming / joehansen): solar-ready Optimus as the key to cutting the Earth supply-chain cord; classic von Neumann picture is a self-replicating craft that lands on an asteroid or planet and builds copies.
STARFALL
- Testers (joehansen) (Sep 14): Facts by #JoeHansenFacts Starfall is the quiet new SpaceX vehicle. A short, wide saucer that brings cargo home from orbit. Not a crew capsule. Not Starship. A crate with a heat shield. • First flight went up on a…
- Testers (Redwire, Aug 6): SpaceMD first commercial mission on SpaceX Starfall spacecraft; pharma / biotech / microgravity manufacturing; launch cited 2028; 32 PIL-BOX payloads. Testers (teslaownersSV): same announcement. Not an Official SpaceX post in this scrape.
- Testers (cb_doge) (Sep 12): The path to understanding the universe.
UNIVERSE / GALAXY
- Testers (Rainmaker1973): Sun has ~22 galactic orbits left; ~514,000 mph around the Milky Way. Testers (CosmosEuropa): Hubble Andromeda image, 1.5 billion pixels / 100+ million stars in a portion. Testers (NightSkyNow): Sagan “star stuff.” Scale posts, not a program.

NEURALINK
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: your Neuralink bookmark folder after merging Brain + BCI (125 unique). Not STARMIND, not StarLink, not Tesla Cortex Data Center.
NEW TODAY
- Folder now 125 posts (+2 vs 123).
- Testers (NeuraPod, Sep 19): How do you charge a Neuralink implant?
- Official neuralink (Sep 16): A beautiful surprise
WHAT IT IS
- Neuralink (product / BCI implant): a coin-sized implant with ultra-thin threads and on-board electrodes that reads (and, for Blindsight, writes) neural signals so a person can control computers, phones, and devices — and later speech/vision — by thought. Product names in this dump: Telepathy (control), Blindsight (vision write to cortex), VOICE (speech restoration trial).
- Official elonmusk (Aug 30): brain as biological computer; MRI can score probable capabilities; Neuralink has to understand brains with no room for nonsense.
- Official elonmusk (Jun 30): “Neuralink has solved through-dura electrode implantation” — framed as a big deal for safety and ease of interfacing with the brain (no longer having to remove the dura for electrode placement).
- Official elonmusk (May 1 / May 7): short “Neuralink” / “Neuralink progress” posts — pointer posts, no extra product text in this dump.
- This note is the implant / BCI how-to. STARMIND (hive/collective-cognition folder) is a different bookmark folder and is not this note. Do not retitle this Neuralink.
HOW TO USE / WHY IT MATTERS
- Near-term use in dump: people with paralysis / ALS / motor neuron disease controlling a cursor, typing, browsing, gaming, art, smart-home, robotic arm, wheelchair — Telepathy as a bypass around a broken body, not a consumer toy yet.
- Official vs Testers: Official = elonmusk or neuralink as the author. Patient videos, hospital sites, implant counts, WPM records, “mass production,” China plans, Neko Health, Samsung process nodes, and campus flyovers arrive via Testers even when they recap company material.
- Watch Official elonmusk / neuralink for through-dura, Blindsight start, and product names. Treat 12 / ~20 / 26 patient tallies as Testers snapshots from different dates — they moved during this dump.
- Long-term lines in dump are Testers quoting Elon: high-bandwidth human–AI / human–human communication (“digital telepathy”), AI-safety-via-symbiosis, mind snapshot onto Optimus on a ~20-year Testers quote. Not current product behavior.
IMPLANT / SURGERY
- Electrodes / threads (Testers): 1,024 electrodes. Older layout 64 threads × 16 electrodes; newer layout 128 threads × 8 electrodes — more coverage, better reliability if a thread fails (Testers XFreeze, Jan 19 2026, citing real patient data driving the change).
- Surgical robot (Testers SawyerMerritt, Dec 3 2025): next-gen insert ~1.5 seconds vs 17 seconds; claimed compatible with ~99% of humans; needle depth >50 mm from the surface; cartridge ~95% cheaper to make. Testers (XFreeze, Jan 19): end-2026 goal is high-volume production with fully automated robotic surgery that does not require removing the dura — matches Official through-dura (Jun 30) as the safety/ease unlock.
- Testers (MarioNawfal / DJ Seo recap, Dec 2025): in-house stack — chips, implants, robots, surgery tools, labs, imaging, animal care, custom HQ. Testers (SVTrivo, Jun 15): Samsung Foundry 4 nm 4th-generation brain chip order; test chips started, mass production targeted late 2027 (Testers/supply-chain, not Official).
- Testers (SERobinsonJr, Jun 18): first flyover of Neuralink campus construction, Del Valle, Texas (Jun 13 2026). Testers (NeuraPod, Aug 24): Austin-area Elon-company map; Neuralink facilities expanding.
- Testers (NeuraPod, Sep 19): How do you charge a Neuralink implant? — Testers explainer post (media), not Official charging-spec.
PATIENTS / TRIALS
- First human implant: January 2024 (Testers). Noland Arbaugh (Testers): paralyzed from shoulders down; controls computers, games, smart home; later public speaker; dump also has him on a 4.0 college GPA and wanting a second implant aimed at movement / dual-implant chatter (Testers MarioNawfal / XFreeze — not Official).
- Brad Smith (Testers): third patient, first with ALS (implant Nov 2024); cursor on a MacBook; edited a video in iMovie by thought; speaks via an AI voice cloned from pre-ALS recordings.
- Alex (Testers): first to control a robotic arm; household appliances.
- Jake (Testers, ALS): 141 WPM by thought vs one-finger typing before; no eye-tracking in that recap (MarioNawfal, Dec 15 2025).
- Paul (Testers): first UK patient, paralyzed by motor neuron disease; computer control hours after surgery (cb_doge, Dec 14 2025).
- Audrey Crews / NeuraNova9 (Testers, Aug 2026): Telepathy art after ~20 years without direct computer control.
- CheckCanopy (Testers, Aug 31): 261-day pioneer — daily calibration / Webgrid practice loop.
- Jon (Testers NeuraPod, Aug 31): patient update post, no extra numbers in text.
- Rocky (Testers MarioNawfal, Dec 7 2025): paralyzed volunteer using thought to control robotic limbs (recap).
- Count snapshots (all Testers, do not freeze as Official): 12 implants worldwide as of Oct 2025 (~15,000 combined hours; target 20–30 more by end-2025 — MarioNawfal); ~20 enrolled/implanted (XFreeze, Jan 19 2026); 26 people with implants or in trials worldwide (cb_doge, Jun 23 2026). Use the latest Testers figure as a range, not a census.
- Screening (Testers, Aug 23–24): Neko Health consented scans feeding an upcoming patient-round eligibility survey.
- Testers (cb_doge, Jun 23): FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for both vision restoration and speech restoration; human trials across multiple countries. Testers claim — confirm on Official Neuralink / FDA, not from an Official post in this scrape.
TELEPATHY / CONTROL
- Telepathy in this dump = thought → cursor / click / type / game / art / smart-home / robotic arm / wheelchair. Motor cortex still lights up; the wiring to the limbs is what broke (Testers PrestonTsao restating the bypass).
- Practice loop (Testers CheckCanopy): the implant opens the door; daily calibration and Webgrid move the scores. Not a one-shot superpower.
- Device-as-remote (Testers MarioNawfal): if a phone can command it, cortex-driven Telepathy is the next remote — still Testers product-vision copy, not an Official API list.
SPEECH / VOICE
- Testers (arturovilla, Sep 17): clip of a mute Neuralink patient saying “te quiero” to his wife again — Testers speech-restoration vignette, not Official trial data.
- Testers (XEthanai / DimaZeniuk, Sep 18): VOICE trial participant Terry — brain implant converts attempted speech / thoughts into spoken words in his own natural voice; miming-speech training then AI audio powered by Grok Voice. Testers recap, not Official trial data.
- VOICE trial (Testers NeuraPod, Aug 18): speech restoration study sites — University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Eligibility recap: severe speech impairment plus impaired upper limb function from ALS, PLS, spinal cord injury, or stroke; age ≥22; reliable caregiver. Link via that post — this is Testers posting trial info, not an Official neuralink author post in the scrape.
- Brad Smith (Testers): AI voice clone as the speech path while VOICE is the formal speech-restoration trial.
BLINDSIGHT / VISION
- Official-via-Testers Elon line (teslaownersSV, Jan 28 2026 / Nov 28 2025): first vision implants — write directly to the visual cortex even if someone is completely blind. Testers (r0ck3t23, Feb 16): Elon — will not merely restore “normal” vision; over time higher resolution than human eyes (Testers quote).
- Testers (cb_doge Jun 23): restore vision including for people born blind is on the next-work list. Not an Official implant-count for Blindsight in this dump.
SCALE / MANUFACTURING / HIRING
- Testers (spcxGOD, Sep 17): Neuralink valued at $60B; Boring Company at $23B — Testers valuation/fold-into-SpaceX thesis, not Official.
- Testers: high-volume production + automated dura-sparing surgery targeted by end of 2026; Samsung 4 nm gen-4 chip mass production targeted late 2027; next-gen robot 1.5s inserts and cheaper needle cartridge.
- Testers (SawyerMerritt, Aug 21): new Neuralink careers page — values copy starts “Focus on the user: every decision traces back to the people who depend on this technology.” Testers (NeuraPod, Aug 20): reasons-to-work-here roundup with apply link.
- Testers (8smjs0y7o, Aug 31): chatter about Elon stepping down as Neuralink CEO — unverified Testers take; no Official confirmation in this dump. Do not treat as fact.
- Testers (Matthew56193629, Aug 31): “just Neuralink barely a decade ago was science fiction. Now it’s being mass produced.” Testers vibe, not an Official production-rate post.
BRAIN SCIENCE (from the merged Brain folder)
- These 18 posts are general neuroscience, not implant manuals. Keep them labeled Testers / science explainers.
- Glymphatic clearance (Testers thecurioustales): during deep sleep glial cells contract, interstitial space ~60% larger, CSF flushes amyloid-beta / tau / alpha-synuclein. Skip the window, skip the cleaning. One-night deprivation PET work cited ~5% amyloid-beta rise in thalamus/hippocampus (Testers recap of Nedergaard / Walker / PNAS — not Official Neuralink).
- Exercise (Testers NTFabiano / WilliamWallace): muscle–brain crosstalk, BDNF, hippocampus, norepinephrine/dopamine/serotonin — brain-health hygiene sitting next to a BCI, not a substitute for an implant.
- Other Testers: cranial nerves except olfactory attach at the brainstem (Science_TechTV); neurons can burn fat / DDHD2 / HSP54 (MarioNawfal / Queensland); octopus sleep neural-map refresh (ShiningScience / Nature 2023); neuroplasticity theory of depression vs serotonin-only (NTFabiano); graphitic carbon nitride nanomaterial stimulating neurons in animal tests (Dr_Singularity); “The Brain That Changes Itself” / post-injury rewiring (kimianora).
- BCI folder was a single Testers post (SERobinsonJr, Jan 19 2026): “New article posted on the future of BCIs.”
ACCESS AND PLANS
- Trials / VOICE: Testers NeuraPod site list + eligibility bullets above; Neuralink eligibility survey + Neko Health optional scans (Testers). Age/caregiver gates in the VOICE recap.
- Watch Official elonmusk and neuralink for through-dura, Blindsight first implants, and any CEO/org posts. Treat patient tallies, WPM, robot insert times, Samsung nodes, and China five-year-plan BCI as Testers until Official restates.
- Defer STARMIND / hive-mind / collective cognition to the STARMIND folder/note. Defer Optimus body-swap / 20-year mind-upload to Testers speculation, not this implant how-to.

GROK VOICE
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: your Grok Voice bookmark folder (58 unique, id 1982487159249535185). Grok Speech and Grok Voice Agent were merged into this folder and deleted. Not Grok Imagine.
NEW TODAY
- Folder now 58 posts (3 new vs 55 on Sep 19)
- Testers (Sep 19): Grok Voice on bots — sit back and talk to bots; “best voice mode” across apps
- Testers (Sep 19): amplify Official Grok Bot voice notes
- Testers (Sep 19): Bot voice mode on Think Fast 2.0; same-day SpaceXAI engineers built “Ship by Thursday” live with bots — talk instead of type
WHAT IT IS
- Grok Voice: xAI / SpaceXAI real-time speech. Consumer Voice Mode (talk to Grok on app, web, and Desktop) plus a developer Voice Agent API for assistants, telephony, and in-car Grok — now including Transcribe 2.0 speech-to-text and Grok Bot voice notes / voice summaries. This note scrapes the single Grok Voice History folder (Speech + Voice Agent were merged in). Not Grok Imagine.
- Official elonmusk: used by Starlink at scale for support and sales (Aug 24, 2026). Earlier Official lines: “Grok Voice is used by Starlink right now” (May 2); “Try Grok Voice for your customer support” (May 7); “Grok Voice ranked first” (Aug 22).
- Official grok (Aug 7): 21 brand-new voices, available everywhere on iOS, Android, and web.
- Testers: same voice stack already in production at Starlink (support + sales) and in Teslas (talk-to-navigate). Consumer Voice Mode is the picker/speed UI; Voice Agent API is WebSocket + tools; Transcribe 2.0 is the STT layer. Keep Imagine / Cybercab product depth out of this note; Bot voice surfaces that ship on the same stack stay in scope when bookmarked here.
HOW TO USE
- Open Grok on iOS, Android, web, or Desktop and use Voice Mode / the speak control. Official grok: the new voices shipped on iOS, Android, and web.
- Testers (Dec 2025): open the settings icon to pick a voice; speaking-speed slider. Testers (Sep 18): try 1.25× if default speech feels slow; voice previews may fail — speak once to hear the new voice.
- Testers (Aug 9): when you finish speaking, swipe up instead of waiting for transcription and tapping Send — the message goes to Grok immediately.
- Testers (Aug 7): Voice Mode works on the web too. Testers (Sep 18): Grok Bot Desktop Voice mode.
- Testers (Sep 18): call your own Grok Bot; Bot can send voice notes and spoken summaries of long task runs; personalized podcast-style briefs for topics you care about.
- Testers (Sep 19): Bot voice mode is powered by Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0; talk instead of type. Same-day SpaceXAI engineer demo built “Ship by Thursday” live with bots for every part of the business.
- Developers (Testers, Dec 17 2025 launch): xAI API console — Grok Voice Agent API over WebSocket for live listen/understand/reply. Existing Speech-to-Text API integrations get Transcribe 2.0 accuracy without code changes (Testers).
- Testers: in a Tesla, “You just talk to Grok, and Tesla takes you there” — vehicle status, directions, navigation; road-trip flow searches X, calculates routes, adds stops, builds an itinerary.
- Official elonmusk: try it for customer support; Starlink already runs it at scale.
VOICES / TTS
- Early Voice Mode lineup (Testers, Dec 2025): Ara — upbeat female; Eve — soft soothing female; Leo — polished British male; Rex — calm steady male; Sal — smooth warm male; Gork — relaxed laid-back male. Agent API launch posts listed five built-ins: Ara, Rex, Sal, Eve, Leo (Gork is the Voice Mode extra).
- Official grok (Aug 7, 2026): 21 brand-new voices on iOS, Android, and web.
- CONFLICT (voice count, Aug 7): Official grok — 21 brand-new. Testers — Voice Mode now has 27 different voices. Treat 27 as Testers’ total (likely originals + the 21 new) unless Official restates.
- Testers (May 3): Custom Voices — clone from one reference clip up to 120 seconds; two-step security (passphrase + voice-characteristic match); library of 80+ preinstalled voices across 28 languages; works across the voice API stack including Think Fast 1.0. Live in the US, except Illinois (Testers).
- Testers (late Apr–May 2026): 30–120s clip → voice_id for Voice Agent API, TTS, and real-time conversations; built-ins plus clones.
- Testers (Aug 6): Grok speech-to-text called out as a workflow upgrade (Tester-built helper app; not Official).
- Testers (Sep 18): Grok Voice Transcribe 2.0 — ~2× accuracy vs 1.0; #1 streaming STT on Artificial Analysis; phone-call / telephony WER called out at 7.1% (92.9% accuracy framing) and Final WER 2.7% on the public board.
VOICE AGENT
- Official SpaceXAI (Sep 16): Use Grok Voice in fal to build intelligent, low-latency agents that resolve real customer issues.
- Testers (Sep 19): Grok Bot consumer voice mode runs on Think Fast 2.0; tester praise that talking to bots is the best voice mode across apps.
- Testers (Sep 18): Transcribe 2.0 launch pack — batch $0.10/hr / streaming $0.20/hr; diarization + timestamps + custom terms included; Atlassian Loom at scale; default SpaceXAI STT soon.
- Testers (Dec 17, 2025 launch): Voice Agent API live — real-time speech-to-speech over WebSocket; multilingual; low delay; tools include web search and X search. Aimed at voice assistants, phone agents, customer support.
- Testers: Tesla was a critical design partner; the API powers Grok in millions of vehicles.
- Testers on Starlink production: Think Fast 1.0 (~Apr 23 2026) — 70% of issues resolved autonomously, 20% conversion, 28 tools on live calls (Testers). Think Fast 2.0 (Aug 2026) — 15,000 inbound Starlink calls a day, 3,000+ orders a week via voice and chat, diagnose hardware and ship replacements. Official elonmusk confirms Starlink at scale for support and sales; the 15k / 3k / 70% / 20% figures are Testers.
- Testers (Aug 21–25): Think Fast 2.0 #1 Speech Agent Arena Task Success Rate; #1 Artificial Analysis Speech-to-Speech Index vs GPT Realtime (Testers). agentic 56.5% #1; 0.70s (only top-five under 1s); overall Speech-to-Speech Index #2 at 82.9% (big jump from 1.0). Official elonmusk: “Grok Voice ranked first.” Prefer dated labels; ranks move.
- Testers (May 19): Big Bench Audio — Think Fast 1.0 97.1% and Grok Voice Agent 93.3%, two of the top five.
- Testers (Dec 2025): #1 Big Bench Audio; 5x faster than the next smartest (Tester claim).
- Testers (Aug 23): 2025 xAI Hackathon hidden voice interviewer — resume parse, HR screen, system design, live coding, scorecard with no human in the room (Tester anecdote).
- Testers (Aug 21): after trying GPT Live Voice, Grok Voice felt a step down; wants a similar upgrade (Tester, not Official).
ACCESS AND PLANS
- Surfaces in this dump: Grok iOS / Android / web / Desktop Voice Mode; Grok Bot voice notes, voice summaries, personalized podcast briefs; xAI API console (Voice Agent + TTS/STT + Custom Voices + Transcribe 2.0); Tesla in-car Grok; Starlink support and sales (voice + chat); fal agents (Official SpaceXAI).
- Testers (Dec 17 2025): Voice Agent API priced at $0.05 / minute. Tester-only; not an Official post here.
- Testers (Sep 18): Transcribe 2.0 — batch $0.10/hour, streaming $0.20/hour (same as 1.0; diarization/timestamps/custom terms included).
- Testers: Custom Voices live in the US except Illinois.
- Official grok: 21 new voices “available everywhere” on iOS, Android, and web.
LIMITS
- Latency: Testers quote ~0.70s on Think Fast 2.0 and “sub-second” on the API; Official posts here do not publish a latency number.
- Cloning geo: Testers — US except Illinois.
- Do not mix voice counts: Voice Mode picker (Official 21 brand-new / Testers 27 total on Aug 7) is not the same as the API library (Testers 80+ across 28 languages, May 2026).
- Testers (Aug 21): quality complaint vs GPT Live Voice — dated tester take.
- Testers (Sep 18): voice previews may not play when switching voices — speak to hear the new one.
- Imagine / Grok 4.x asides in one tester roundup are out of scope unless the line is actually about voice.
- Transcribe 2.0 WER / $0.10–$0.20/hr / Atlassian Loom figures are Testers (Sep 18); not Official product posts in this folder.

- Testers (SawyerMerritt, Jun 29): Official V14 Lite notes for HW3 — distilled HW4 V14 intelligence into HW3 (RL / offline models); better merges, forks, pedestrians, lights, cut-ins; fewer false slowdowns; parking/unparking/reversing; Arrival Options (lot / street / driveway / curbside).
- Testers (muskonomy / Ashok quote, Jul 20): V14 Lite “likely going to wide release” for ~4M HW3 cars since 2019 (distillation). Testers (TeslaNewswire, Aug 17): unified v14.1 Lite + v14.3.7 to HW3 and HW4.
- Testers (TeslaNewswire, Aug 28): v14.3.8 + v14.1 Lite 2nd-batch rollout via Summer Update 2026.26.6.5; first merge of FSD into the Summer Update branch for HW4/AI4 NA; no release-note changes vs v14.3.7 / v14.1 Lite (minor).
- Testers (TeslaNewswire, Aug 31): same v14.3.8 + v14.1 Lite now on 6th-batch owners via Summer Update 2026.26.6.5 (still minor vs prior FSD notes).
- Testers (SawyerMerritt / TeslaNewswire / wholemars / niccruzpatane, Sep 3–8): v14.3.9 officially rolling out with “Automatic Collision Evasion” (auto-engage FSD while manual driving for imminent collision or inattentive / lost driver control; highways; FSD purchase/enabled required per Testers).
- Testers (TeslaNewswire, Sep 13): v14.3.9 + v14.2 Lite now to 3rd/4th owner batches via software update 2026.27.6; unified HW3+HW4; ACE on AI4/HW4; no release-note changes vs prior (Testers; bug-fix framing).
- Testers (niccruzpatane, Aug 30): FSD V14.3.8 and 2026 Summer Update rolling out to more owners (Testers; check vehicle software).
- Testers (tslaming quoting Ashok Q2 call, Jul 22): early FSD v15 already running on Robotaxi fleet — framed as unsupervised path (Testers/earnings, not a standalone Official post here).
- Testers (teslayoda, Sep 10): FSD v15 framed as the tipping-point / killer-app purchase driver (Testers; not Official).
- Testers (TeslaNewswire / niccruzpatane / tslaming / travel_invest, Sep 11): Ashok (VP AI) teases FSD v15 — earlier hazard prediction, faster reaction, better safety / collision avoidance; early builds already on Austin Robotaxi (21 flawless rides per niccruzpatane) (Testers quoting Ashok).
- Hardware: HW3/AI3 vs HW4/AI4 in these folders. Testers quoting company: “have not given up on HW3” — solve autonomy first, then take care of HW3 customers (earnings-era quote via Testers). AI5 / chip roadmap deep detail → Tesla AI Chips / combined Tesla note.
- Testers (tslaming quoting Elon, Apr 15): current AI4 said enough for unsupervised FSD; AI5 aimed more at Optimus / clusters (Testers).
HOW TO USE / SUPERVISED
- Supervised = you remain responsible; cabin attention / nags still apply (Official “nags less” on 14.3.3 implies monitoring continues). Do not sleep / leave the seat — unsupervised is a separate regulatory/product track.
- Testers (TeslaNewswire, Jul 24): Tesla published a new FSD (Supervised) tutorial (how-to video/post in dump).
- Testers (SawyerMerritt, Apr 17): 2026 Spring Update — new Self-Driving app: subscribe with a single tap, learn how to activate/use, view ongoing stats.
- Testers (SawyerMerritt, Jul 26): 2026 Summer Update — preferred/prioritized routes you’ve taken; Grok can call, adjust climate, open glovebox, search/play music; view/share self-driving stats from the mobile app; Automatic Navigation adapts to routine places.
- Testers (SawyerMerritt, Aug 26): self-driving zoom preference customization in 2026 Summer Update.
- Testers (wholemars, Aug 29): 14.3.8 city loop — tap start, Post Office + park, mall garage park + exit, no manual controls (still Supervised).
- Testers (reggieoverton, Aug 30): FSD v14.3.8 — restaurant drive-thru by selecting driveway on the At Your Destination menu (Arrival Options).
- Testers (butala_aryan, Aug 31): in-car Grok Voice — “Hey Grok, go to Work, goodbye” sets navigation and ends the voice session (Grok Voice deep detail → Grok Voice note).
- Testers (HustleBitch_, Sep 2): Grok Voice finds a listing from street/city/agent (no address remembered), loads destination, FSD drives — Supervised owner demo (Grok Voice note for voice details).
- Testers (TeslaNewswire / Elon via folders): quality-of-life ahead — saved parking preferences; eventually drive “like its owner” (remember interventions / preferences — Official Elon line via Testers Jul 18); language prompting of FSD (~3 months from Jun 18 Elon line — Testers).
- Testers (tslaming / cb_doge, Aug 28): MyWheels (NL) Supervised FSD car-share — license + pickup + take-over still required; 1 Model 3 now, ≥50 this year; ~3,000-EV fleet (Testers).
- Pricing in dump (Testers): ~$99/mo subscription commonly cited; attach/take-rate chatter (NA >55% on new deliveries; ~1.48M active subscriptions Q2 2026 / ~200k net add vs Q1 1.28M / YoY +56% — Testers GrindeOptions Sep 19; ~$775M/yr subscription revenue — Testers teslaownersSV / CernBasher / SawyerMerritt, Jul 22). Purchase price / transfers not detailed as Official posts here — check Tesla app / account.
- Countries with FSD Supervised in this dump: Testers (TeslaNewswire / muskonomy / alex_avoigt, Sep 7) — 14 markets / 4 continents: U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, China (limited), Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, Slovenia (~6 EU; 21 EU still left). Earlier Testers (GrindeOptions, Aug 28) list omitted Slovenia/China; Switzerland / Singapore filing still Testers-only side notes. EU type-approval / RDW Netherlands deep process posts are Testers — availability still country-gated.
- Testers (TSLA_inside_, Sep 10): Slovenia owners said to receive 2 months of FSD free (promo claim via Testers — not an Official Tesla post in this dump).
UNSUPERVISED / REGULATORY (dump-only)
- Official elonmusk: V15 aimed to far exceed human safety in completely unsupervised / complex situations. Rollout framing via Testers quoting Elon: safety > convenience; finish → validate → scale; large-scale Robotaxi waits on validation.
- Testers (niccruzpatane, Dec 9 2025): Elon — “Unsupervised FSD has been solved”; Austin Robotaxi without passenger-seat occupant “in about three weeks” (time-bound claim — treat as historical tester quote, not current status).
- Testers (ElonEconomyX, Jun 26 newly bookmarked): Elon quote via Testers — technical standpoint this year you could fall asleep and wake at the destination. Time-bound Testers quote, not Official in this dump; Supervised still forbids sleeping.
- Testers: unsupervised testing with no occupants framed starting Dec 2025; Elon Jan 2026 line via Testers — ~10B miles of training data needed for safe unsupervised; Testers say fleet hit ~10B FSD miles ~May 3 2026 (~28.8M FSD miles/day then).
- Testers (tslaming, May 29): Texas authorization for Tesla Robotaxi, LLC commercial driverless ops (state authorization claim — Testers). NHTSA FMVSS 102 AV proposal and U.S. House AV hearing drafts appear as Testers news posts — not Official Tesla.
- Testers: Europe / RDW Netherlands type-approval process for Supervised; Danish Road Traffic Authority pushback vs Reuters criticism (statement via Testers). Israel approval on milestone lists (Testers). Testers MyWheels CEO: driverless app-summon within five years (Testers, not Official).
- Testers (muskonomy / herbertong / TeslaNewswire / SawyerMerritt, Sep 1): potential EU-wide FSD Supervised approval vote framed for October 6; Testers (alex_avoigt, Sep 7) Slovenia approval framed as more support for that October vote; Sweden’s government (Andreas Carlson) said ambition is Union-wide approval (shift vs June transport-agency reject urge — Testers). Tesla open-sourced NL safety evidence / EU dashboard.
- Testers (CuriousPejjy, Sep 13): EU FSD vote framed ~23 days out with 6/15 countries already approved (NL/BE/DK/LT/EE/SI) (Testers).
- Testers (FSDEurope, Sep 12): Denmark→Sweden border — FSD Supervised worked 100% in DK, disabled on entering Sweden (Testers; Sweden still not live).
- Testers (TeslaZoa, Sep 1): South Korea MOLIT — FSD Supervised / V14 Lite said not compliant with current standards; automatic lane changing vs driver-must-initiate turn-signal rules (Testers).
- Testers (muskonomy / MarioNawfal / DimaZeniuk / joehansen / Philippe Tabarot, Sep 2–4): France Transport Minister video-called Elon after months of technical work with Tesla; two FSD-equipped cars now running French roads so Paris can check the data; EU homologation still framed for coming weeks (Testers).
- Testers (TeslaNewswire, Sep 16): Tesla shared FSD (Supervised) testing video in Spain — 2 years of testing, 460,000 km (~286,000 miles) (Testers; Spain not yet in live Supervised markets list here).
- Testers (tslaming, Sep 11): Germany’s KBA examining Art. 39 routes — including national recognition of provisional EU type approval before TCMV vote (Testers; not a recognition decision yet).
- Defer city fleets, Cybercab production, and unsupervised commercial rates → Robotaxi note.
SAFETY / LIMITS
- Official: vision fleet learning rare edge cases at massive scale; FSD sees more of the surround than a human (“eyes in the back of its head”).
- Official Tesla (Sep 8): FSD aims to give extra space / offset to pedestrians, cyclists, workers, or roadside parked cars — creates margin if something unexpected happens; most drivers rarely do this as consistently.
- Official Tesla (Sep 10): “Photon count reconstruction FTW” — endorses tester clip of FSD detecting a vehicle early under direct sun glare when the human driver could not (Official).
- Testers (TeslaNewswire / cb_doge / travel_invest, Sep 18): Belgium 24.6M km FSD Supervised — ~9.6× / nearly 10× lower accident risk vs manual outside highways (De Ridder / Parliament; Testers; KR reframe via travel_invest).
- Testers (travel_invest / Ashok via quotes, Sep 11): safety debate should include near-misses avoided (not only crashes that occur); v15 framed toward earlier hazard understanding + faster action (Testers).
- Testers (SawyerMerritt / TeslaNewswire / wholemars / niccruzpatane, Sep 3–8): Automatic Collision Evasion in v14.3.9 now rolling out — FSD can auto-engage while driving manually to steer/evade when AEB isn’t enough, or if the driver is inattentive / lost control; pedals and steering muted during maneuver; Testers say FSD must be purchased and enabled (NotATeslaApp). Still Supervised product framing.
- Testers (MarioNawfal, Sep 12): ACE framed as a safety net while driving manually — FSD can steer/adjust speed when AEB may not be enough, or if distracted / accidental disengage (Testers).
- Testers (DigitalDaisyX / Jim Attrell, Sep 12): owner Model Y anecdote — FSD steered toward ditch to avoid head-on; driver credits FSD with avoiding hospital/worse (Testers; anecdotal).
- Testers: ~13.6B supervised FSD miles worldwide (Aug 21); Testers (CernBasher, Aug 29) called 14B by end of August; Testers (wholemars / SawyerMerritt / MarioNawfal, Aug 31–Sep 1) confirm fleet crossed 14 billion FSD Supervised miles (was 13B Aug 3). Korea 50M km; EU: Testers (XFreeze / herbertong, Sep 1–2) 100M+ km in 5 approved countries with 4.1× fewer collisions vs manual + Active Safety; >70k customers / ~1M km/day; NA dashboard via Testers — AEB −74–84%, major collisions down up to ~69% on ~2B miles. Earlier Testers (alex_avoigt, Aug 26) 100M km Europe claim. Testers (SawyerMerritt, Aug 29): FSD V14 can handle 99% of some owners’ miles (Testers). Interventions and edge cases still reported — Supervised remains supervised.
- Testers (herbertong / CernBasher): crashes may not go to zero; remaining issues shift toward rare unseen edge cases and road design/markings; public trust matters at Robotaxi scale.
- Limits in dump: nags / attention monitoring; country gating; HW3 vs HW4 capability gaps narrowed by V14 Lite but still labeled Supervised; Mad Max / assertive profiles are still driver-supervised; sleeping while Supervised is unsafe and not legal product behavior in these folders.
- Label Official vs Testers carefully — earnings quotes and release notes often arrive via Testers accounts even when content is company-sourced.
ACCESS AND PLANS
- Enable / subscribe: Tesla vehicle software + Self-Driving app (Spring Update notes via Testers); ~$99/mo subscription commonly cited in dump.
- Testers (GrindeOptions, Sep 11): long-run scale thesis 10M+ FSD monthly subscribers worldwide ≈ $1B/mo high-margin (Testers; not Official guidance).
- Tutorial: Official Tesla FSD (Supervised) how-to called out by TeslaNewswire (Jul 24).
- Watch Official Tesla / elonmusk / Tesla_AI for version and country posts; treat milestone roundups as Testers until cross-checked.
- Defer: Cybercab Launch Event, Robotaxi city opens, Optimus → their notes.

TESLA ROADSTER
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: your Tesla Roadstar + TESLA ROADSTAR bookmark folders (54 unique posts). Dump spelling is Roadster; folder names kept exact above.
NEW TODAY
- Folder set now 54 unique posts (was 52 on 2026-09-19; +2). Tesla Roadstar 53 (was 51), TESLA ROADSTAR 1 (unchanged); 0 URL overlap.
- Testers (TeslaOwnersSLO, Sep 19): Tesla reopened Roadster reservations in many EU countries (not Slovenia yet); reserve €4,000 card now or €39,000 bank within 10 days; final price still unknown; flags Oct 1 2026 presentation/demo livestream (Testers citing reserve page — not Official MSRP).
- Testers (cb_doge, Sep 19): FAA restricted airspace around SpaceX McGregor near Waco ahead of Tesla’s Oct 1 Roadster reveal — no-fly zone ~10,000 ft through Oct 2 (Testers/FAA report; supports McGregor demo window).
WHAT IT IS
- Next-gen Tesla Roadster: long-awaited electric supercar first unveiled 2017; folders treat it as halo / “cherry on the icing” product, not core mission volume.
- Official lines in dump arrive only as quotes via Testers: Elon — most exciting / memorable product unveil; “coolest car… that will probably ever exist”; “best of the last of the human driven cars”; SpaceX option ~10 small rocket thrusters for acceleration / top speed / braking / cornering — “Maybe they will even allow a Tesla to fly.” (quote posts: Teslaconomics, cb_doge, teslacarsonly, MarioNawfal / Rogan framing).
- Public equity in these folders is $TSLA. Reveal / thruster demos are spectacle; Testers flag limited near-term earnings impact for the thruster limited edition.
- “Flying” in this dump = cold-gas thruster hover / stunt demo (SpaceX tech), not a production aircraft. Label carefully. Sep 15–17 All-In “no spoilers” / live-witness framing on flying-car questions keeps Official reveal opaque. Sep 16 Teslarati underhyped framing = Testers hype/capability tease, not new Official specs. Sep 18–20 Testers add reservation reopen / FAA McGregor airspace / Oct-1 tease noise without Official lock.
SPECS / DESIGN
- Testers Sep 2026: SpaceX-package **0–60 mph ~1.1s** circulating as Musk goal (not a certified record in these posts).
- Baseline specs still cited from 2017 unveil (Testers XFreeze / MarioNawfal): 0–60 mph in 1.9s (SpaceX package faster); top speed 250+ mph; ~620 miles range. Aimed to outperform supercars at a lower price (Testers framing).
- SpaceX option package (Elon quote via Testers teslacarsonly): ~10 small rocket thrusters arranged seamlessly around the car; improve accel / top speed / braking / cornering; possible “fly.”
- Design (Testers / The Information via folders): moved away from 2017 design; carbon-fiber monocoque / tub; latest prototype two seats + butterfly doors (tslaming Nov 2025; wallstengine Aug 2026). Inspiration chatter: Lamborghini Countach + SR-71 Blackbird (travel_invest). Hypercar-like proportions vs 911 / Huracán / 296 class (DominicBRNKMN).
- Limited thruster demo car: not street-legal (Testers).
- Sep 19–20 Testers reservation path: SawyerMerritt 𝕏 Money 3% off deposit (invitee); TeslaOwnersSLO EU reopen — **€4,000** card / **€39,000** bank-within-10-days on reserve page; **final MSRP still open** in these posts (Testers citing site amounts, not Official pricing post).
TIMELINE / PRODUCTION
- 2017 first unveil; schedules slipped many times (Testers: at least ~8 slips / original design discarded — travel_invest).
- Nov 2025 (tslaming): insider-observed redesign = two-seater + butterfly doors.
- May 30 2026 (XFreeze): Franz + Lars — build in Texas; planning underway.
- Jun 5 2026: Franz Flachau “few weeks” (ann_404_); demo delayed to August (tslaming); factory-floor Texas framing (MarioNawfal).
- Aug 2026: unveil + McGregor thruster demo window widely reported (The Information / Reuters via Testers); Elon “unforgettable” demo line (TeslaNewswire); “You will get flying cars” (niccruzpatane). Rehearsal dial-back / postponed elements still in dump (tslaming Aug 14) — treat August timing as Testers/press, not a locked Official calendar post here.
- Sep 14–15 2026 (Testers travel_invest / herbertong / thejefflutz / TeslaNewswire): **Oct 1 2026 Waco, Texas** unveil + reservation invites + site refresh; livestream on X per webpage meta analysis. Treat as strong Testers calendar lock (invites/site), still not an Official Tesla calendar post in these folders.
- Sep 14 (Testers XieJackie / The Information): hover demo framing — downward cold-gas thrusters, remote driverless, crowd standoff for noise.
- Sep 15 (Testers Miaavswpv / All-In): flying-car question → Elon “no spoilers”; Calacanis mind-blown / not-a-simulation framing; excitement-guaranteed line echoed.
- Sep 16 (Testers Teslarati): unveil “underhyped” / capability not understood framing (no new Official date or specs in post text).
- Sep 17 (Testers LaceyPresley / All-In): **live witnesses may be needed to prove the new Roadster is real**; Elon “No spoilers” on drive+fly hypothetical (same All-In lane as Sep 15; no new Official date/specs).
- Sep 18 (Testers NotATeslaApp): Elon post framed as possible **Oct 1** reveal preview (“what we’re getting on the 1st”) — tease only.
- Sep 19 (Testers SawyerMerritt): **reserved Roadster**; 𝕏 Money card **3% off deposit**; final price TBD (Testers action, not Official pricing post).
- Sep 19 (Testers TeslaOwnersSLO): Tesla **reopened EU Roadster reservations** (many countries; Slovenia not yet); €4k card / €39k bank; Oct 1 livestream flag (Testers citing reserve page).
- Sep 19 (Testers cb_doge): **FAA no-fly ~10,000 ft** over SpaceX **McGregor** near Waco through **Oct 2** ahead of Oct 1 Roadster reveal (supports thruster-demo airspace planning).
- No customer delivery date locked in these 54 posts — Oct 1 2026 is unveil window (Waco / McGregor) in folders, not a delivery date.
RELATED
- SpaceX cold-gas thrusters / McGregor site: Roadster note only; deeper SpaceX ops → SpaceX / combined Tesla notes if bookmarked elsewhere. Sep 19 FAA TFR around McGregor is Roadster-reveal adjacent.
- FSD / Robotaxi / Cybercab / Optimus not in these folders — defer.
- Watch Official Tesla / elonmusk for unveil; treat The Information / Reuters / podcast / regional Owners-club reserve recaps as Testers until cross-checked against Official posts.

TERAFAB
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: your TeraFab bookmark folder (214 posts).
NEW TODAY
- Folder now 214 posts (1 new vs 213 on Sep 19)
- Testers (LaceyPresley, Sep 19): most interesting thing about Terafab isn’t chip volume but collapsing the feedback loop — today’s AI processor path means coordinating architecture → foundry → memory → packaging across a distributed supply chain (vertical / under-one-roof implication). Still Testers.
WHAT IT IS
- Official Tesla (Mar 22, 2026): TERAFAB — joint with SpaceX & xAI; “largest chip manufacturing facility ever (1TW/year)”; logic, memory & advanced packaging under one roof; closes the gap because all chipmakers combined cannot supply Optimus + solar-powered AI-satellite demand even by 2030 projections.
- Official SpaceX (Apr 7, 2026): Intel is joining Terafab; same “logic, memory, and advanced packaging under one roof” framing.
- Elon (Aug 7, 2026): “Terafab will be 50 times the size of the Pentagon when complete.”
- Testers quoting Elon (announcement): goal >1 TW compute/year with ~80% for space and ~20% for the ground; buy all available Samsung/TSMC/Micron output and still fall short (~2% of needed capacity).
- Testers (LaceyPresley, Sep 15): deep-dive on the 80/20 split — Terafab reframed as primary manufacturing engine for off-world AI (not a standard auto/robotics chip plant); 20% AI5/AI6 earth edge-inference + HBM for FSD/Cybercab/Optimus; 80% D3 space-hardened for Starmind orbital servers (radiation hardening / redundancy). Still Testers.
- Testers (JOBhakdi, Sep 17): Terafab framed as a “city” for the fragmented semiconductor supply chain — not a single fab / memory plant / Tesla answer to TSMC. Primary source behind prior herbertong quote. Still Testers.
- Testers (muskonomy / cb_doge, Aug 25–26): Comptroller-filing rundowns describe a SpaceX-planned, vertically integrated campus (design, photomask, wafer fab, advanced packaging, system integration), including tester mentions of sub-2-nanometer-class tech, on-site power generation, and a space-compute test facility. Process-node / campus-feature detail remains Testers unless Official restates it.
- Not a consumer product. It is the chip plant for Optimus, vehicles/FSD, Starlink / orbital AI, and related stacks.
HOW IT WORKS
- Official: one roof for design → fab → memory → packaging (and, per announcement rundowns, masks / test in the Austin precursor).
- Testers (LaceyPresley, Sep 19): the interesting part isn’t chip count but collapsing the feedback loop — today’s AI processor path coordinates architecture → foundry → memory → packaging across a distributed chain; Terafab’s under-one-roof pitch is that collapse. Still Testers.
- Testers quoting Elon: U.S. has zero high-volume computer memory fabs in production today; Terafab is meant to cover logic + memory + packaging because supplier best-case still undershoots demand.
- Testers (joehansen / LaceyPresley / SciTechera quoting Elon “FEL FTW”): render’s central ring read as a Free Electron Laser / accelerator light source — centralized EUV for many scanners instead of per-tool tin-plasma. Aug 23 LaceyPresley dump post: utility-scale ERL-FEL as a shared “photon power plant,” tunable toward 6.7 nm Beyond EUV. No working Terafab FEL shown in this dump; xLight / NIST $150M FEL prototype talk is tester context only.
- Testers (joehansen, Sep 13 citing Elon in Austin): mask shop in the same building as the wafers — logic, memory, packaging, test, and lithography masks under one roof; recursive loop make → test → cut a new mask → run again. Still Testers (aligns with prior closed-loop pilot at Austin / Giga Texas Advanced Technology Fab before Grimes scales).
- Testers (herbertong quoting JOBhakdi, Sep 16): Terafab framed as not beating NVIDIA but building the fabs / packaging / power / partner network NVIDIA can’t alone — “city for the US semiconductor industry.” Still Testers.
- Testers (JOBhakdi, Sep 17): analyze Terafab as an integrated manufacturing city (lithography / fab / packaging supply chain), not one plant competing with TSMC. Still Testers.
- Testers (tslaming event rundown): start by buying all available Samsung / TSMC / Micron output; those suppliers’ max expansion still << terawatt need; Austin mega-fab is the fast iteration node, Grimes is the scale node.
- Testers (pbeisel / CernBasher): long-term Tesla/SpaceX success framed as hinging on Terafab feeding Starship mass-to-orbit and Starmind orbital compute — dump theme, not Official product names in the Tesla/SpaceX Terafab posts here.
- Testers (LaceyPresley, prior day): proposed Terafab–Intel 14A path framed as changing manufacturing / capacity (RibbonFET 2, PowerDirect, High-NA EUV, 3D integration) — process-node detail remains Testers unless Official restates it.
SITE / LOCATION
- Full-scale site: Grimes County, Texas (east of College Station / Brazos Valley; testers cite Gibbons Creek / old power plant area). Sen. JohnCornyn: SpaceX & Tesla fab in Grimes County; thousands of jobs; community/school investment (senator post, not company Official).
- Testers (SERobinsonJr, Sep 11): College Station City Council reviewed Grimes Terafab — staff said project could drive >14% of Brazos Valley population growth over next decade and will strain roads/infrastructure (Councilman Bob Yancy quoted). Testers/local, not Official.
- Land (Testers, Aug 21–22): WIT TECH LLC — 4,619.71 acres / 20 parcels (Grimes Central Appraisal District / KBTX). CONFLICT: earlier tester “~6 square miles” (~3,840 acres) and “~2,300 acres” footprint posts disagree; prefer the dated CAD 4,619.71 figure and label the others Testers.
- Precursor: Testers (JoeTegtmeyer / LaceyPresley) — Advanced Technology Fabrication / chip R&D fab at Giga Texas East Campus (~100 mi west of Grimes). Complementary to, not a substitute for, Grimes Terafab.
- CONFLICT: early Mar announcement testers said “at Giga Texas”; Jul testers (joehansen) — Elon: final location “announced soon,” too large for Giga Texas campus; Aug dump treats Grimes as the scale site and Giga as the pilot. Prefer Aug site reports over Mar “at Giga” shorthand.
- Testers (TeslaBoomerMama, Sep 10): clarifying SpaceX records suit — tax deal already public; what’s in court is the file. Grimes County approved a 10-year 100% county property-tax abatement in exchange for $10M upfront (already paid) and $20M/year in lieu of taxes — Testers recap, not Official.
- Tax / local (Testers): Grimes County TIRZ / tax breaks (commissioners 4–1; framed around a $55B project); Anderson-Shiro CISD & Iola ISD property-tax exemptions (~48% burden cut) pending Governor agreement — now joined by Aug 25–26 tester reports of signed Comptroller / Anderson-Shiro CISD agreements (Phase 1 plus Phases 2–3 portions). Testers: incentive was decisive vs Arizona / New Mexico / Nevada.
- Hiring locale (Testers TeslaZoa Aug 23): Construction Logistics Supervisor posting listed in College Station, Texas — consistent with Grimes / Brazos Valley buildout geography in this dump.
- Testers (TeslaNewswire, Aug 30): Terafab to be partially solar-powered; nearby land insufficient for all required energy from solar alone; gas plant for additional power; Tesla Megapacks help stabilize power quality needed for semiconductor production.
CONSTRUCTION / RAMP
- Testers (JoeTegtmeyer, Sep 10–11): Grimes Terafab foundation construction already underway — long rectangular graded area with footing excavation rock (possibly first part of main structure); Sep 11 morning VIDEO (“almost unbelievable progress,” first part of foundation); later Sep 11 VIDEO: main-foundation footing square excavations, rebar cages, additional grade — “very surprising development.” Testers, not Official.
- Testers (LaceyPresley citing Elon, Sep 16): equipment already being ordered for Austin R&D fab with a target of producing something useful by end 2027; companies already doing semiconductor packaging (earliest practical leverage while front-end fab climbs). Watch process node / wafer starts / defect density / packaging throughput / memory integration — not just footprint. Testers.
- Testers (niccruzpatane quoting Elon + JoeTegtmeyer flight, Sep 17): ATCF at Giga Texas may ship something useful before end of next year — design/test/revise before Terafab scale; this week’s flight shows ground-slab pour over moisture barrier, rebar for more pours, tall crane assembled. Complements prior LaceyPresley end-2027 useful-output note. Testers.
- Testers (SERobinsonJr / JCChristopher, Sep 5–7): first Grimes Terafab flyover (Labor Day weekend footage). Four-part map: earthworks clearing SE of Gibbons Creek Reservoir (plus eastern lake to drain); 348.59-acre Millennium Power parcel W of reservoir by Grimes County Substation (photos only — No Drone Video); WIT TECH Navasota River intake (3.83-acre pump station ~11,000 gal/min + 1-acre intake/low dam for stormwater diversion); 433.79-acre energy parcel NW between old coal plant site and 210 MW Grimes County Solar Farm (use undesignated). Baseline for future buildout comparisons — Testers.
- Testers (JoeTegtmeyer Aug 13/20/24, SawyerMerritt, TeslaZoa Aug 24): Grimes Phase 1 construction started — clearing, tree removal, initial grade; drone overflight approved by Tesla. Aug 24 TeslaZoa: land clearing / early site prep advancing; Phase 1 of 10 on the western edge near Gibbons Creek Reservoir. JoeTegtmeyer Aug 24: photo update (images; video promised).
- Testers (TeslaZoa Aug 23): Tesla hiring Construction Logistics Supervisor (College Station) to stand up site logistics from zero — earthwork, temporary utilities, site development, warehouses, materials, tools, equipment, fleet, deliveries.
- Testers (JoeTegtmeyer): Giga Texas East Campus precursor broke ground Apr 2026; foundation work active (GeoPiers, footings, rebar, pours, odd-shaped excavation). Aug 28 VIDEO: E Adv Chip Fab foundation construction continues (tester notes a unique foundation design).
- Testers (cb_doge citing signed Phase 1 agreement): construction period Dec 1, 2026 through Dec 31, 2028; 10-year incentive 2029–2038.
- Testers (cb_doge / tslaming): Phase 2 construction 2029–2031, Phase 3 2032–2034. Construction testers cite ~11,300 direct workers/year on those later phases. Still tester schedule, not Official Tesla/SpaceX.
- Testers (marsrepublica citing filings / Elon): ~11-year window 2026–2037; meaningful production often pegged ~2029 — tester schedule only.
- Testers (MarioNawfal / travel_invest): ~3,000 jobs = Phase 1 opening act only. Later-phase testers cite ~617 permanent jobs per phase (Phases 2+3 combined ~1,234).
CHIPS / PRODUCTS
- Official Tesla: 100–200 GW of chips for Optimus alone, plus terawatts for solar-powered AI satellites; 1 TW/year facility target.
- Testers (pbeisel, Sep 11): 1 TW/year = fab output of AI compute capacity (~1,000 GW aggregate chips produced annually), not a 1 TW data center on the land — clarification of Official 1 TW/year framing. Testers.
- Testers quoting Elon / event: 100–200B custom AI + memory chips/year class of ambition; ~80% space / ~20% ground split.
- Testers (teslayoda / LaceyPresley): families discussed — edge-inference (AI5/AI6 for FSD/Optimus), space-hardened / D3-class orbital compute, high-bandwidth memory.
- Official SpaceX: Intel joining. Testers also cite Intel 14A process interest and Elon/Intel meeting talk — treat process-node detail as Testers unless Official restates it.
- Testers (cb_doge, Sep 15): South Korea’s Hanmi Semiconductor secured a deal to provide advanced packaging equipment for Terafab’s AI chip production line — first Korean back-end equipment maker; follows HPSP’s front-end equipment order in June. Testers.
- Testers (SERobinsonJr citing Korea Economic Daily, Sep 17): Hanmi Semiconductor reportedly signed a PO with Terafab for packaging tools on AI system semiconductor lines — grain of salt / not confirmed; reinforces prior cb_doge Hanmi packaging-equipment note. Testers.
- Testers (niccruzpatane quoting Elon): ~25% of output (~250 GW/yr) for Optimus — tester attribution.
- Testers (muskonomy / cb_doge): sub-2-nanometer-class tech + space-compute test facility mentioned in Comptroller-filing rundowns — Testers, not Official.
FUNDING / SCALE
- Elon: 50× Pentagon when complete. Testers quoting Elon: ~100M sq ft (~10× Giga Texas).
- Phase 1: Testers (SawyerMerritt / teslaownersSV / marsrepublica / Aug 25–26 Comptroller rundowns) — $16.8B. Most repeated near-term figure.
- Testers (cb_doge / tslaming / muskonomy, Aug 25–26): Phases 2 and 3 ~$23.8B each (~$47.7B combined) on Anderson-Shiro CISD portions; four-phase master plan testers cite ~$119B. nextbigfuture instead says $17–30B per phase every 3 years — do not collapse.
- CONFLICT — total cost: Testers cite $55B (Grimes County project framing), $55B–$119B, and $119B full build; early May tester post said $20–25B “at Giga Texas.” Do not collapse these into one number; Phase 1 $16.8B is the most repeated near-term figure; Aug 25–26 tester Comptroller rundowns are the source of the more specific $23.8B / $119B later-phase numbers.
- Testers: SpaceX-led Grimes build; Tesla-led mini / research fab at Giga; Optimus robots to help build out (Official Tesla names millions of Optimus in the vision).
- Testers (SawyerMerritt): Tesla filed “Tesla Terafab” wordmark + TERAFAB logo trademarks (May 2026 filing note in dump).
- Local economic spillover (Testers cb_doge citing Greater Brazos Partnership): other firms calling Brazos Valley since announcement; local leaders estimate ~15% of regional growth over a decade — tester/local-report only. Sep 11 SERobinsonJr: College Station council staff said >14% of Brazos Valley population growth over next decade — same ballpark, still Testers/local. Aug 25–26 testers add ~$5.3–$5.36B state/local tax revenue over 38 years on Phases 2+3 portions (~$2.49B Anderson-Shiro CISD; ~$1.45B Grimes County property tax) — still Testers citing filings.
- Testers (cb_doge citing Goldman Sachs): Terafab Phase 1 ~$16.8B called a major new driver of chip-equipment growth in Goldman’s Logic & Other forecast; Goldman WFE $150.3B / $217.5B / $280.9B for 2026–2028 — tester attribution of Goldman, not Official.
USEFUL WORKFLOWS
- Separate the two sites: Giga Texas East Campus = R&D / Advanced Technology Fab (already pouring); Grimes County = full-scale Terafab Phase 1 (clearing/grade + early logistics hiring; testers now also cite a signed Phase 1 tax agreement). Do not merge them.
- Scale claims: anchor on Official Tesla 1 TW/year + Elon 50× Pentagon; treat 100M sq ft, 80/20 split, chip counts, and Optimus % as Testers quoting Elon.
- Money: use Phase 1 $16.8B; treat Phases 2+3 ~$23.8B each / ~$119B four-phase as Testers citing Comptroller filings; flag $55B / $17–30B/phase / $20–25B as conflicting Tester figures. Do not collapse.
- Land: prefer Aug Grimes CAD 4,619.71 acres (WIT TECH); flag older ~6 sq mi / ~2,300 acre posts.
- FEL: “FEL FTW” + Aug 23 ERL-FEL / “photon power plant” / 6.7 nm Beyond EUV are tester reads — interesting direction, not a shipped light source in this dump.
- Stack read: Terafab (chips) → Starship (mass to orbit) → Starmind (orbital compute) is tester framing (pbeisel / CernBasher), consistent with Official Tesla’s solar-AI-satellite + launch-mass story.

Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: your Tesla Semi bookmark folder (89 posts). Dump-only. Label Official vs Testers.
NEW TODAY
- Folder 89 posts (+3 vs 86 on Sep 19).
- Testers (tslaming, Sep 20): Gates diesel-frame battery-weight critique fails — structural battery (cube behind cab), multi-motor axles, low drag; Standard 548 kWh → Long Range ~822 kWh via third identical pack; NACFE fleets haul to 82,000 lb at ~1.7 kWh/mi; ~$0.34/mi power vs ~$1.00/mi diesel → ~$65k/yr fuel savings
- Testers (pbeisel, Sep 19 quoting SawyerMerritt Top Gear): Tesla Semi isn’t painted (neither is Cybercab) — powder coat / paint shop is dead
- Testers: one new Semi-folder bookmark deleted by author before hydrate
WHAT IT IS
- Tesla’s Class 8 battery-electric semi truck for local / regional / long-haul freight. Dump treats it as an economics + infrastructure product (truck + Megawatt charging + fleet software), not a passenger EV story.
- Official (Tesla Semi website via Testers Aug 18–19): up to 500 miles range; lower energy and maintenance than diesel; can pay for itself within a typical ownership period; remote diagnostics / OTA / Trip Planner / live vehicle status.
- Official (Elon quote via Testers MarsUniversityX): electric Semi more energy-efficient than diesel; regenerative braking recovers gravitational energy on descents instead of burning expensive brakes.
- Official (Tesla Semi Service Sr Manager Thad E. Ayres via Testers SERobinsonJr at TMC 26): “more powerful, more efficient and fully electric… massive range, the lowest total cost of ownership and maximum uptime.”
- Testers: three independent rear motors; centered cab; ePTO can power refrigerated trailers from the truck battery (25 kW cited); FSD for Semi is sequenced after passenger / Cybercab unsupervised work (Elon via Testers).
SPECS / RANGE
- Official (Tesla Semi website / released specs via Testers XFreeze / herbertong / Teslaconomics):
- Long-range: up to 500 miles at ~82,000 lb GCW fully loaded; also a 325-mile standard-range option (both max payload framing)
- Europe (Official via Testers SawyerMerritt Sep 11): 550 km (~342 miles); 1.0 kWh/km (1.61 kWh/mile); camera mirrors (no traditional side mirrors); Model Y Standard-like headlights
- Europe IRL (Testers TeslaNewswire Sep 14): first in-person pics at IAA Transportation Hannover — no lightbar (black center trim); camera side mirrors
- Europe details (Testers SawyerMerritt Sep 14): 10 cameras / full 360°; cameras-only (no traditional side mirrors); no front light bar due to local regs; base Model Y–like headlights
- Cabin UI (Testers niccruzpatane Sep 14): shortcuts on outer edges of 16” QHD displays; polished Semi UI
- Top Gear / Official-via Testers (niccruzpatane Sep 18): 0–60 mph 12.5s without trailer; 24s fully loaded; diesel Semi ~60s with full load; fully loaded ~same time as diesel empty (niccruzpatane quote of Tesla_Semi)
- Production Semi details (Testers SawyerMerritt Sep 18 via Top Gear): powder coated like Megapacks (no paint shop); 3% more efficient than prototype; more aerodynamic than Bugatti Chiron; Standard Range 548 kWh battery; only 7× less efficient than a Model Y; new front bumper air vent; three-piece front bumper for easier repair; heated + cooled cloth seats; squarer pack holds heat better (cold-weather efficiency); 6′6″ adult can stand in cabin
- Gates rebuttal (Testers tslaming Sep 20): structural battery cube; 548→~822 kWh third pack; NACFE ~1.7 kWh/mi at 82k lb
- Energy: ~1.7 kWh/mile fully loaded
- Drive: ~800 kW / three motors
- Charging: up to 1.2 MW Megacharging; recover ~60% of range (~300 miles) in ~30 minutes
- ePTO: 25 kW capability (powers refrigerated trailer electrically)
- Battery: designed to last a million miles; structural pack; same cells as Cybertruck (Jay Leno video stats via Teslaconomics)
- Testers (SawyerMerritt Aug 25, new version vs prior): fully electric steering assist (was hydraulic); beefed-up Cybertruck actuators; 48-volt architecture; 4680 cells
- Testers (maksim434244 Aug 27): 1,000+ hp; Testers 70% charge in 30 min on Megacharger (vs Official ~60%)
- Testers (herbertong Aug 27 / travel_invest Aug 28): 822 kWh pack — cells as a scale constraint
- Curb / payload (Testers XFreeze Feb specs post): ~23k lb curb → ~59k lb payload; ~1,000 lb lighter overall + 2,000 lb EV weight exemption keeps diesel payload parity (Teslaconomics)
- Testers (Teslaconomics / Jay Leno framing): Cd ~0.4; strong regen on grades; Alaska winters / heat pump with minimal range loss; turning radius like Model 3/Y; test fleet >13.5M miles, one truck ~440k miles at ~95% uptime
- Price chatter (Testers only): Testers (maksim434244 Aug 27) two configs on sale — 325-mile $260k / 500-mile $290k; prior chatter ~$290k for 500-mile vs $400k+ Daimler/Volvo EVs (MarioNawfal / NYT); insiders sub-$300k (tslaming); one Tester claim of 70% cost cut toward ~$250k (NestorLRamos) — treat as Testers, not locked Official MSRP in this dump
- Economics (Testers): ~$0.15–$0.20/mi electricity vs ~$0.45–$0.70+/mi diesel depending on assumptions; CA ~50% cheaper / nearly 20% cheaper nationwide all-in claims (joehansen / Teslaconomics); 10-year ~$400k TCO edge before FSD (joehansen); Testers (CernBasher Sep 18) ~$65k/yr fuel savings — fuel alone can go a long way toward paying for the truck over a few years

Tesla Optimus
Updated 2026-09-20
Sources: Tesla Optimus + Optimus academy bookmark folders (302 unique). Not Digital Optimus.
NEW TODAY
- Folder grew to 302 unique (Optimus 299 + academy 3, overlap 0). 2 new vs yesterday (300).
- Testers (TeslaZoa, Sep 20): Bloomberg — Tesla engineers audited Optimus-component suppliers in Ningbo, China; moving closer to commercialization. Tester citing Bloomberg, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (travel_invest, Sep 19): Tesla app 4.61.0 decompile — optimus_charger_id / SITE_TYPE_OPTIMUS (Optimus charger + Energy Site); registered like Powerwall/Solar, not a separate robot app. Tester leak, not Official Tesla.
WHAT IT IS
- Tesla’s general-purpose humanoid robot. Official accounts in this dump: Tesla and Tesla_Optimus. Physical robot + academy/training bookmarks — not Digital Optimus.
- Elon: first humanoid meant to do generalized useful work in factories and homes — not a pre-programmed demo. Built about 5'11", with human-level (or better) hand dexterity.
- Elon: “It won't even seem like a robot. It'll seem like a human in a robot suit.” You’ll have to poke it to believe it’s real.
- Testers: Tesla vehicles and Optimus share the same cameras, computers, and batteries. Testers quoting Tesla Newswire: two eyes, same cameras as Tesla cars.
- Generations in this dump: Gen 2 / 2.5 (current demos, running, factory tests); Gen 3 (first mass-production design); then Optimus 4 and 5 on an annual cycle. Aug 24 tester (maksim434244): Gen 3 body 57 kg / 173 cm, lighter on purpose.
HOW IT WORKS
- Elon: learn a task by watching a human, hearing a verbal description, or watching a video — no step-by-step programming. “No one's ever achieved this.”
- Elon: most impressive internet humanoid demos are pre-programmed or remotely controlled. No current humanoid does generalized tasks. That is the Optimus goal.
- Official Tesla_Optimus (Dec 2025): “Just set a new PR in the lab.” Testers: walks on end-to-end neural nets trained in simulation. Elon confirmed some clips (kung fu, running) were AI-driven end to end.
- Hands: testers quoting Elon / engineers — 22 degrees of freedom; actuators moved out of the palm into the forearm with cable-tendons. Elon: forearm and hand are ~60% of the engineering difficulty. Testers: lift about 40 lb and still not crush an egg. Aug 23–24 tester (maksim434244): Gen 3 hands 22 DoF, 25 actuators each / 50 across both arms (old hands had 11); synthetic tendons; egg without breaking the yolk. Academy tester (0xOracul): catch/reopen practice as the home-robot hand skill.
- Testers (Aug 23): some early units still VR-teleop driven while the robot watches and learns; one Miami anecdote of a unit falling when headset control released — treat as tester caution on autonomy readiness.
- Testers: AI5 is the on-device chip (testers quoting Elon on tape-out, Apr 2026). Aug 24 tester (maksim434244): AI5 “40 times faster”; Grok handles language/reasoning, Tesla vision networks handle the body. That split is a tester claim, not Official Tesla.
- Testers: Tesla patented a “universal cortex” so Optimus inherits the car’s camera perception stack. Knee patent: 4-bar linkage, about 150° of bend.
- Leadership (tester, Aug 23): Milan Kovac left Jun 2025 after ~9 years on Optimus; Ashok Elluswamy (FSD software) now owns the program — tester read: hardware landed, software is the bottleneck.
ACADEMY / TRAINING
- Testers brand Elon’s sim-to-real self-play plan “Optimus Academy” (training for the robot, not a separate consumer product / not Digital Optimus).
- Testers (CyberY57, Sep 11 reply): early Fremont Optimus-line units go to Optimus Academy for 4680 sorting, kitting, pick-and-place — factory as the training gym before Giga Texas scale.
- Elon via testers (Dwarkesh, also in Optimus folder): tens of thousands of robots (at least 10,000, maybe 20–30,000) doing self-play to close the sim-to-real gap.
- Academy tester (0xOracul): catch/reopen practice as the home-robot hand skill.
- Academy tester (XFreeze): short clip — “Sustainable, abundant and autonomous.”
- Academy folder (the_latticex): millions of virtual robots practice in physics-accurate simulations while 10,000–30,000 physical Optimus units test those skills in the real world; every attempt becomes training data; fleet can copy a mastered skill.
- Testers: Cortex 2 training compute for the Optimus model. Elon via testers (Mar 2026): first half of Cortex 2 to go live in April.
- Early physical units: stay inside Tesla for teleop/learn (~1k built this year / sell zero — tester Aug 23). Academy hand-catch clips are practice demos, not a shippable home product.
HOW TO USE / ACCESS
- Not for sale. You cannot buy one from anything in this folder. Early units stay inside Tesla for testing and data.
- Official Tesla (Nov 2025): pilot production line running in Fremont; testing in factories and office spaces for real-time use cases.
- Elon (Feb 2026): “By the end of 2027, I think we'd be selling humanoid robots to the public, That's when we are confident that it's very high reliability, very high safety, and the range of functionality is also very high. You can basically ask it to do anything.”
- Testers (Jul 2026 app-code dive): Tesla app adding home-data consent (video, 3D spatial, tactile), a Bluetooth robot key with a device whitelist, and simple owner alerts (low battery, mechanical issue). Tester leak, not an Official Tesla post.
- Testers (Sep 19, travel_invest): Tesla app 4.61.0 decompile — `optimus_charger_id` / `SITE_TYPE_OPTIMUS`; Optimus charger/Energy Site registered like Powerwall/Solar (not a separate robot app). Tester leak, not Official Tesla.
- Testers: Tesla is hiring for Optimus Simulation (Palo Alto) plus Optimus-labeled jobs (Palo Alto, Fremont, Austin, Langley BC, Athens). Sep 7 tester (tslaming): Manufacturing Engineers in Palo Alto and Austin to launch/ramp Optimus hands production. Sep 10 tester (TeslaZoa): heavy Optimus-related hiring in Holzgerlingen, Germany (geartrain manufacturing/assembly/test/electrical + mechanical equipment design). Sep 10–11 tester (BastianBraun121): Robotics Controls Engineer for Optimus geartrain manufacturing in Holzgerlingen. Watch Tesla careers, not a storefront.
PRODUCTION / FACTORY
- Folder grew to 302 unique (Optimus 299 + academy 3, overlap 0). 2 new vs yesterday (300).
- Testers (Sep 20): TeslaZoa — Bloomberg: Tesla engineers audited Optimus-component suppliers in Ningbo, China; commercialization push. Tester citing Bloomberg, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 19): travel_invest — Tesla app 4.61.0 decompile shows `optimus_charger_id` / `SITE_TYPE_OPTIMUS` (charger + Energy Site like Powerwall/Solar, not a separate robot app). Tester leak, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 18): MarsUniversityX — Elon: final stages of Optimus 3, most advanced robot, nothing close; start production soon. Tester clip of Elon, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 17–18): TeslaZoa — Giga Texas Optimus factory concrete/rebar on three upper floors, footing/grade-beam south, roof trusses east. DoctorJack16 — Launch Event speculation (6–9 months) with Optimus already doing real factory work. Tester, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 17): nextbigfuture — Optimus could lose a robot demonstration and still win humanoid robotics; factory and world-around-the-robot changes matter more than hands/walking/AI demos alone. Tester, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 16): TeslaZoa quoting JoeTegtmeyer — Giga Texas Optimus factory steel expanding, upper floors progressing, foundations for large-scale production equipment visible. Tester, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 15–16): alex_avoigt — Optimus production ramping (“not noticed”). Shred_0x — Gen 2.5 hand: 11 DoF, real fingertip force sensing, production-feasible tendons. tslaming — rumor V3 October / Q3 earnings window (year-end more feasible). Tester/rumor, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 12–13): lopihjyv — Optimus stability / real-world balance framing. Optimus_RH — TSLA-investor mood after Cybercab + Roadster/Optimus coming. travel_invest — why no V3 show (frame-by-frame copy + Tesla used to show unfinished). TeslaAIBot (parody) Gen 2/3 teaser (30% faster / leave the lab). CyberY57 — Fremont S/X floor → Optimus line; early units to Optimus Academy (4680 sorting/kitting/PnP) as factory training gym before Giga Texas. Replies on Arthur’s how-to: sir4K_zen 22-DoF hands → autonomy soon; RobinHill85 Gen 2.5 still mostly teleop. Tester/parody, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 11–12): Optimus_RH — Elon clip: Optimus biggest product ever (~10×), ~80% of Tesla value. Yurash1104 — Optimus choreography demo; asks on-device inference vs teleop off-camera. murzik52 — Gen 2.5 hallway walk / pilot-role framing (“next trillion”). Tester/parody accounts, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 10–11): BastianBraun121 — Robotics Controls Engineer hire for Optimus geartrain manufacturing in Holzgerlingen, Germany (scale prep). Shred_0x — construction ROI framing (Optimus offsets height-injury / scaffold insurance cost, not just robot sticker); newly bookmarked Aug 1 article “TESLA BETS EVERYTHING ON OPTIMUS. WHO IS ACTUALLY LEADING THE RACE?”. TeslaAIBot (parody) V3 teaser clip. teslayoda ping to Tesla_Optimus after six months. Tester/parody, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 9–10): XFreeze drone footage — Giga Texas Optimus factory rising fast, more structural steel mid/south, pushing north. TeslaZoa: heavy Optimus hiring in Holzgerlingen, Germany (geartrain + mechanical equipment roles). Teslaconomics / Optimus_RH: long-horizon “Tesla Bot redefines Tesla” / “most impactful product” tester framing. travel_invest: viral Gen 2.5 clip is concept/rendering-leaning, not live; gold 2025 unit is Gen 2.5. Tester reports, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 7–9): JOBhakdi (China reports) Tesla begun first 5,000 Optimus + vendors prep 15,000 by year-end — “production has started.” nextbigfuture: scaling to 15,000 by end-2026 and 125,000+ annual run rate. XFreeze: Optimus as scalable physical labor / cost-of-building bottleneck. Tester reports, not Official Tesla.
- Testers (Sep 7–8, nextbigfuture): Tesla reportedly ordering parts for ~15,000 Optimus units Sep–Dec 2026 — ~1,000/week by end of September, ramping to ~2,000–2,500/week by year-end; ~100,000–125,000 run rate heading into 2027. Tester report, not Official Tesla.
- Official Tesla (Nov 6, 2025): Fremont pilot line is running. “Significantly larger Gen 3 production line coming in 2026.”
- Tesla via testers (Jan 2026): Gen 3 is the first design meant for mass production. Start of production planned before the end of 2026. Eventual planned capacity 1 million robots per year.
- Elon (Abundance Summit, Mar 2026): start Optimus 3 production “this summer, but very slow at first,” high-volume around summer 2027. Then Optimus 4 the next year. Annual new design.
- Elon (his post, Jan 29, 2026): “Optimus 4 will be built in Texas at much higher volume.”
- Elon (Jul 2026): Fremont S/X floor is being converted to the Optimus line. “There is no supply chain.” Hardest product Tesla has ever tried to scale. Everything is new. Testers quoting the Q2 call: initial ramp “quite flat and long.”
- Elon on the V3 show (Apr 2026): push the unveil closer to production (late July / August) because competitors do frame-by-frame copies. This dump has no Official V3 launch post after that window.
- Testers (Aug 24, maksim434244): Model S assembly line torn down in 46 days for Optimus; 10,000 unique parts; Tesla building the supply chain from zero. First units stay inside Tesla factories.
- Testers (Aug 25, JoeTegtmeyer): Giga Texas Optimus factory weekly timelapse, ~5 months in; his estimate 6–8 months still to assemble the full structure — not producing yet.
- Testers (Aug 24, OverlyTrev): Texas site ~10M/year at full ramp and meant for Optimus 4; guesses Optimus 3 before year-end as Fremont comes online.
- Testers (Aug 23–24): ~1,000 built this year / sell zero (internal training); Polymarket ~9% odds of 2026 commercial launch (down from ~33%) — timeline skepticism, not “robot failed.” CapEx chatter >$25B across AI/Robotaxi/Optimus in 2026.
- Unconfirmed / media (Aug 21–23): Gen 2 pilot chatter at Giga Berlin (battery area, shielded zones). Leave commercial Berlin claims unconfirmed.
CONFLICT — volume and factory size
- Official / Elon: start late 2026, slow ramp, 1M/year Fremont capacity eventually; high volume ~summer 2027; Texas is the much-higher-volume (Optimus 4) site. Testers repeat 1M Fremont + 10M Texas; one Aug 23 tester says 11M+/year at scale. Aug 25 tester (niccruzpatane) uses 10M at $20–25k to get $200–250B/year — tester math.
- Older testers (Jan 2026): Chinese-supply “mass production audit,” $685M order with seven Tier-1s, 50,000–100,000 units by end of 2026. Jul 2026 testers quoting Shanghai VP Tao Lin: Jul–Aug start, Q4 10,000/month, 50–100k in 2026 then 500k–1M in 2027. Sep 7–8 tester (nextbigfuture): parts orders for ~15k units by end-2026 and a ~100–125k/year run rate into 2027. Those 2026 unit counts sit well above Elon’s “very slow at first” line and above Aug 23 “~1k built / sell zero” tester framing. Do not pick a winner.
- Factory-size testers also disagree: about 5.2 million sq ft North Campus vs 8 million sq ft.
PRICE / PLANS
- Official Tesla (Nov 2025): “Our goal is $20k COGS per robot at scale.” That is cost of goods, not a sticker price.
- Elon (All-In, testers Sep 2025): “the marginal cost of production once you hit a million units per year is probably around the $20,000 range.” Depends on the AI chip and actuator efficiency (26 actuators per arm in that quote).
- CONFLICT — price: testers also quote a $20,000–$30,000 public/target price. One Aug 20 tester cites both $20k (Elon “priced it”) and $30k (Musk price target) the same day. Official language in this dump is $20k COGS / ~$20k marginal cost at 1M/year. $30k is tester. Aug 23 tester (maksim434244) cites current unit cost $50k–$100k — early/low-volume chatter, not Official COGS. Aug 24 same tester restates $20–30k target vs $150–250k competitors.
- Elon: public sales targeted end of 2027. Testers repeat that. Prediction-market odds of a 2026 commercial launch are low (~9% Polymarket, tester).
- Elon: demand guess “20 billion-ish” — at least one per person plus industry. Ron Baron via testers (Jul 2026): Musk talking past 10 million to 100 million then a billion. Those are demand visions, not orders.
- Elon via testers (shareholder meeting): Optimus 4 production 2027, Optimus 5 2028. One Aug 21 tester repeats Gen 4 2027 / Gen 5 2028.
- Elon: “Optimus is kind of like an infinite money glitch.” Future value “might be measured in terms of wattage.”
JOBS / TASKS
- Official Tesla: already testing real-time use cases in factories and offices. Testers (Mar 2026): units doing useful work at Giga Texas and Giga Nevada — moving parts, sorting, repetitive assembly. Treat factory-work claims as tester unless Official. Aug 23–24 testers: internal-first deployment before customer sales.
- Elon: 24-hour nurse/helper; dangerous or repetitive work first. Walk the dog, take care of the house, babysit, teach kids, cook dinner, play the piano. Fine motor control “suitable for medical and manufacturing environments.”
- Elon (Jan 2026 clip + Aug 20–21 restated): robot doctors / better than the best human surgeon in about three years. Testers date that to ~2029. Elon’s prediction, not a medical product on sale.
- Elon: law-enforcement idea — a free Optimus that follows a person and stops crime (“more humane form of containment”). No weapons in that quote.
- Testers listing Tesla video chores: vacuum, fetch a paper towel, water a plant, dishes, iron, cabinets, clean a table, whiteboard, open/close curtains, set up a party, put a pan on a stove.
- Testers (Aug 24, veloraaivs / nexoraAIxt): home pitch as many small chores (car vacuum, upstairs, plants, laundry, kitchen, errands) and hard fine-motor tasks (matching socks); cooking-dinner clip framed as care/home-life, not a shippable product.
- Tester speculation (Shred_0x, Aug 23): hotel housekeeping split across two humanoids by summer 2027 (China/UAE chain confirmation bet) — prediction, not Official Tesla.
SAFETY
- Elon: must be extremely reliable before public sale. A ~70 kg robot that “flopped over” has to be carried out “like a body.” “We don't want Optimus to go haywire.”
- Elon: wait for “very high reliability, very high safety” — his end-2027 public-sale condition.
- Testers: home units would be cameras on legs. App leak claims a Bluetooth key whitelist so the robot ignores unauthorized phones.
- Testers: Elon said some demos (kung fu, running) were end-to-end AI; he has not said which other demos used a motion-capture human. Do not treat every clip as unsupervised autonomy. Aug 23 tester: Miami fall when teleop released — reinforces “not unsupervised yet.”
USEFUL WORKFLOWS
- Do not try to buy one. Public sales are an end-2027 Elon target, not a checkout page. 2026 commercial-launch odds in this dump are market-skeptical.
- Jobs: Tesla careers — Optimus Simulation (Palo Alto) and the broader Optimus-labeled listings.
- Factory watch: Official Tesla / Tesla_Optimus for production language. Joe Tegtmeyer Giga Texas videos/photos for construction progress (tester) — Aug 25 timelapse still shows structure assembly, not production.
- Academy / training watch: simulator + physical self-play scale (10k–30k) is tester framing of Elon’s plan — not a public course you enroll in. Academy folder still 3 posts (unchanged Sep 19). Fremont factory-gym / 4680 Academy task framing is tester (CyberY57), not Official.
- Ignore stale “Q1 2026 unveil” posts as current news — that window has passed; Elon later said push the V3 show closer to production. This dump has no Official V3 launch post.
- Treat Berlin, 50–100k units in 2026, and a $30k sticker as unverified or conflicting. Treat “~1k built / sell zero,” Polymarket 9%, and $200–250B/year-from-10M as tester/market signals, not Official Tesla guidance.
- Digital Optimus claims in this folder (parked-car office bots, Supercharger units) belong in the Digital Optimus how-to.

I took my second Cybercab ride during the launch two weeks ago, and I still can’t believe it.
Tesla has officially put a purpose-built, fully autonomous car into production and onto public roads.
The Model Y robotaxis were already running unsupervised, but the Cybercab is on another level — no steering wheel, no pedals, two seats, and the most efficient production car ever made.

Elon Musk keeps stacking WORLD FIRST after WORLD FIRST....across spaceflight and electric vehicles
He has repeatedly done things nobody had ever done before.....things that are already written into history
Just look at what he has already achieved:
• 2008 — Falcon 1 became the first privately developed liquid-fueled rocket to reach orbit
• 2008 — Tesla Roadster became the first production electric car with more than 200 miles of range per charge
• 2010 — SpaceX became the first private company to launch a spacecraft into orbit and successfully recover it
• 2012 — Dragon became the first commercial spacecraft to reach the ISS
• 2015 — Falcon 9 completed the first upright, powered landing of a rocket’s first stage after an orbital launch
• 2017 — Falcon 9 achieved the first reflight of a liquid-fueled first stage previously used on an orbital mission.....then landed it again
• 2020 — Crew Dragon became the first commercially built and operated spacecraft to carry astronauts from U.S. soil to orbit
• 2021 — Inspiration4 became the first orbital mission with an entirely private crew
• 2024 — Polaris Dawn completed the first commercial spacewalk
• 2024 — Super Heavy became the first rocket booster ever caught by a launch tower
ONE of these achievements would be enough to define an entire company’s legacy
Elon has delivered all of them
That’s what makes the scale of his ambition so insane.....these aren’t future promises
They’re already in the history books
Elon keeps aiming at things humanity has never done before, and he keeps engineering them into reality
He’s building far more than companies
He’s expanding what humanity is capable of
BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force is backing Sedaro with up to $45 million to expand what could become a digital proving ground for orbital warfare.
Sedaro is a mission simulation software platform designed for National Security that can model satellites, sensors, communications networks, and other military systems together. This will allow the Space Force to digitally rehearse entire missions, simulate hostile attacks, and expose weak points before putting hardware or personnel at risk.
The platform can simulate hundreds or thousands of interconnected assets across space, air, land, sea and cyber. Sedaro says it can operate at 100× the scale and deliver results 10× faster than competing approaches.
It can also generate high-fidelity training environments for autonomous spacecraft and AI, testing how constellations coordinate, adapt to failures, and respond when communications are disrupted or satellites come under attack.
That matters because America’s expanding orbital architecture is becoming too interconnected and expensive to test one spacecraft at a time. Sedaro could give the Space Force a virtual battlespace to rehearse tomorrow’s space missions before they become real.

Simply Explained Ep. 02: Meet Planet Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun, and honestly, it’s one of the weirdest planets in our solar system.
It was discovered in 1781 by astronomer William Herschel, making it the first planet ever discovered using a telescope.
Uranus is an ice giant, just like Neptune. It looks blue-green because of methane gas in its atmosphere.
But the strangest thing about Uranus is the way it spins. Instead of rotating upright like most planets, Uranus is tilted almost completely on its side, so it basically rolls around the Sun.
Scientists think a massive object may have crashed into Uranus billions of years ago and knocked it sideways.
A day on Uranus lasts only about 17 hours, but one year there takes around 84 Earth years.
Because of its extreme tilt, one side of Uranus can face the Sun for about 21 years at a time, while the other side stays in darkness.
Uranus also has rings, just like Saturn, although they are much darker and harder to see.
And here’s another crazy fact: Uranus is actually colder than Neptune, even though Neptune is farther away from the Sun. Temperatures in Uranus’ atmosphere can drop to around −224°C.

SpaceX just reached 40 FLIGHTS with the same rocket fairing half
A lot of people know SpaceX recovers and reuses its Falcon boosters.....but the huge nose cone gets recovered and flown again too
The fairing is the two-piece shell that protects the satellites during launch. Once the rocket clears the dense atmosphere, the halves separate and fall back toward Earth
And SpaceX sends ships out to bring them home
Originally, SpaceX used ships fitted with giant nets to catch the fairing halves as they descended under parachutes, before they touched the ocean......and actually made successful catches.....but the method was inconsistent, and SpaceX moved away from net catching in 2021
Instead, it made ocean recovery the standard approach
After separation, small thrusters control each half’s orientation, then a steerable parachute slows its descent for a soft ocean splashdown
Recovery crews lift the floating halves onto a ship using a crane
Back on land, they’re cleaned, inspected and refurbished for another flight
Same idea as the booster.....a different way of bringing it back
And now one of those fairing halves has reached its 40th flight
The booster landings get most of the attention, but even the nose cone is flying dozens of missions instead of being thrown away after one launch
