@alijhardy Enjoy your holiday as we hold the faith even in these days of turmoil. Pam and I are in Blackpool as we are handicapped with my legs weak so that I need Pam's arm and a stick . Hope you and Janet are well. Enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Cheers.
At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, Every tongue confess Him King of glory now; 'Tis the Father's pleasure we should Him Lord, Who from the beginning was the mighty Word.
(Hymn based on Philippians)
Guide me, O thou great Jehovah, Pilgrim through this barren land. I am weak but Thou art mighty.
Hold me with Thy powerful hand.
Bread of heaven, Bread of heaven. Feed me till I want no more.
( Cwm Rhondda )
Seeing that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens,Jesus the Son of God, let us come boldly
unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
(Hebrews 4 v 14 &16)
@MichaelSadgrove I am not used to a lot of candles nor do I like a lot but in a case of no other illumination there is no other alternative. In fact, they remind you that the the Light of Christ has shone in that lovely building for centuaries.
@trefeca I had an uncle named Howel Harris Griffiths the son of David Richard Griffiths who was a Calvanistic Methodist Minister who worked in North Wales . Have you heard of them? Incidentally, my grandfather made two visits to the U.S.A .
