Consultative meeting with a section of Members of Parliament from Murang’a County to deliberate on priority development programmes and projects.

This afternoon, together with the Accounting Officer Ms. Bernice Lemedeket, from the National Police Service, we oversaw the transfer of four training rotary wing aircrafts from the National Police Service to Ministry of Defence. The platforms will be used to train pilots from gvt agencies.

This was a show of how government agencies should work together.

Also present were the Vice Chief of Defence Forces, Lieutenant General John Omenda, the Managing Director of Defence National Security Industries, Major General Bernard Waliaula, and senior officials from both Ministry of Defence and the NPS.

Our resolve to diversify tourism products is, no doubt, firmly on course.

This morning, with the Head of Public Service @koske_felix , we flagged off a fusion of tourism offerings combining cultural shows, sports, wellness and a variety of other attractions.

This maiden Heritage Trails & Barngetuny Mountain Run that has kicked off in Nayahururu will course through Laikipia County with hikers, bikers and a host of fans gearing to transverse 5 counties in the next five days.

This awesome experience will eventually be rolled out elsewhere across the country .
