I’m about to be such a snobby purist here like don’t get me wrong cgi did a lot of cool things but it just will never be the models, just on a fundamental level the model series is so superior. *This* is Thomas.

It is really messy and it’s bad optics and the Reverend’s undoubtedly dated politics do not help, but I think, purely in-universe, we kinda give the steam engines too much flack for this. Because really, during the time period where the engines are all saying stuff like this, +
