The left take revenge on the US academic Nathan Cafnas who exposed plagiarist by Jason Arday formerly a professor at Cambridge University.
Cafnas was suspended from his position at Ghent University after Jason Arday committed suicide following allegations that his qualifications were suspect.
Apparently Cafnas has now been suspended for allegations of ‘racial discrimination’. He believes he will be removed permanently from his position.

The irony is that Nathan Cofnas ran a professor's work through specilised software to detect fraud, and then reported on those findings after very careful analysis. The wider press then coorborated that dishonesty, finding additional false claims. And this was more than plagarism, it was about economc fraud, the fact that Jason Arday obtained employed at Cambridge University through deception, and then taught students on a false basis is a criminal offence, under the Fraud Act 2006, S.2. Not to mention the lucrative book deal, on the back of this fraud. And then you have Arday's false accusations to the police against David Harris and Jack Grove in 2023 and 2025 to INTIMIDATE them. It has taken THREE YEARS to get to the truth, and even now, the whistleblowers are being demonised. It really does feel like a conspiracy to hide the truth at any cost. And shows how hard it is to stop misinformation in an era of political correctness gone mad, where feelings seem to count more than truth.

Ghent University could have just sat back and watched Cambridge's reputation implode from a safe distance. But for some reason they decided that they too wanted to destroy their reputation and be humiliated.

As a result, millions of people who had never heard of Ghent University before now associate it with punishing one of their own researchers for exposing plagiarism and academic fraud.

But Ghent leadership is so ideologically captured that they believe all of this actually makes them look good.

There couldn't be a better example for why viewpoint diversity matters. They have a glaring blind spot, but nobody there can see it. So they're happily driving off a cliff.

The United States Mission to Belgium condemns, in the strongest terms, Ghent University’s retaliation against an American scholar following his accurate whistleblower reporting on academic fraud.

The United States government regularly funds and supports research, academic exchanges, and other engagements with overseas universities. Dishonest, corrupt institutions that engage in, or reward, scapegoating mob behavior are not desirable partners for us. This is particularly true where the purpose and effect of the scapegoating is to punish accurate journalism unearthing academic dishonesty. We are therefore reviewing any relationships we have with Ghent University.

Bad-faith idealogues will try to make this a referendum on the content of Cofnas’s scholarship – or polemical distortions of it. That’s wrong. Free speech means that controversial views are protected. And Cofnas’s views were known to Ghent University when he was hired.

The ultimate purpose of freedom of speech is to overturn lies, fraud, and false ideologies. This is precisely what Cofnas was doing, and precisely the reason his home institution wants to silence him.

The rector of @ugent is Petra De Sutter (photo below). This is the person who is ultimately on watch as @nathancofnas is fired for having pointed to the unimaginable fraudulence of Jason Arday at @Cambridge_Uni. Petra, who is a biological male and a gynaecologist, is a trans "woman." I presume that Dr. De Sutter does not believe that human beings are a sexually dimorphic and sexually reproducing species consisting of two default phenotypes: male and female.

This story understates the Orwellian and Kafkaesque world of academia in every conceivable manner.

October, 2021. CNN sends a reporter to Miami to investigate a school that is considered "anti-vax."

While there the reporter runs into a parent who says that he is not going to have his children get the Covid vaccine.

While being harassed by the CNN lackey, the parent says that fully vaccinated people are still dying from Covid and that Fauci is not the best scientist in the world. The CNN clown scoffs at him and tells him he is wrong.

This exact same week the former head of the CDC Robert Redfield said that more than 40% of people who died from Covid over the past 6-8 weeks in Maryland were fully vaccinated. Soon after, the CEO of Pfizer said publicly that two doses of the vaccine offered almost no protection at all against Covid.

The parent was right. The arrogant CNN reporter was wrong.

Melanoma was a rare disease within living memory. In 1935 an American's lifetime risk was one in 1,500. It is now about one in 33.

The sun has not changed.

Not better detection either. The dermatologist who published the 1,800 per cent rise went out of his way to rule that out, because the death rate was climbing alongside it.

Not a failure to cover up. Sunscreen went from nothing to a global industry across the exact century melanoma exploded.

Not sun exposure. A cancer registry across four Nordic countries and Australia found more melanoma in office workers than in the men who spent their working lives outdoors.

So something changed inside the skin rather than above it.

The omega-6 in American body fat went from 9 per cent in 1959 to 21 per cent by 2008, tracking the soybean oil supply almost exactly. That fat turns over on a half-life of roughly two years, so the skin you burned this summer was built out of the oil in your kitchen two summers ago.

And sunburn is an inflammatory reaction. The fuel for it is the omega-6 sitting in your cell membranes when the light lands.

Which is why four grams of omega-3 a day let volunteers take 36 per cent more UV before they burned, in a double-blind trial. Why fish oil cut the inflammatory signal in irradiated human skin by more than 60 per cent. Why mice fed seed oil burned worse than mice fed omega-3 under the same lamp.

It is also why my inbox fills up every June. People two and three years into carnivore, fair-skinned, no cream, hours outside, telling me they come in pink now instead of scalded. I stopped burning somewhere in year two and assumed I had imagined it. Thousands of people reporting the same change, in the exact direction the mechanism predicts, is not a coincidence. It is data nobody has bothered to collect.

The trial nobody wants to fund is two groups, one lamp, one kitchen running on sunflower oil and one on butter.

Over the last few decades scientific publications have increasingly degenerated into little more than a vehicle for intellectual self-gratification, personal fame and financial sponsorship. Countless institutions, both of authors and peer reviewers, are thoroughly contaminated by conflicts of interest. During the C-19 pandemic, I demolished several papers in my own field that had been waved through by peer-reviewed journals despite their biased and misleading conclusions. My disgust for this publication-obsessed establishment reached a peak roughly a decade ago when I read that incredibly deceitful article on the results of an Ebola vaccine published by WHO authors in The Lancet (https://t.co/RnzAzUn78u).
It is long overdue to put an end to the farce of having publications judged by a cozy little clique of scientists who oftentimes belong to the same elitist mainstream establishment as the editors themselves and who only care about their own interests rather than any genuine service to science or to the public. The vast majority of these peer-reviewed articles contribute precisely zero of value to such noble goals and that is not even counting the papers in fundamental science, whose usefulness I do certainly acknowledge.
It is an absolute disgrace that this same elite continues to feast greedily on taxpayer money while society does barely get anything useful back on its investment.
