But for some reason, she wishes to keeping spreading misinformation (even in 2026), hence my recent post. I posted on a Facebook group about my book Misandry: The War on Men Uncovered. Talked about the mental health crisis men face, family court bias, false allegations. Nothing angry. Nothing attacking anyone.

The post is going viral, thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments. Some good, some very very bad.

Here's a sample of what's in those comments.

'There is no war on men. But thanks for adding to the incel community.'
'Awww poor ickle man babies.'
'Are you those kind of men who are beaten up by your wives and need protection by the state?'

This is what happens the moment you say men's issues deserve to be taken seriously. Mockery. Denial. Open contempt for actual survivors.

I'm making a full YouTube video breaking this down next week, the responses, the pattern, what it actually reveals. Because if this is the reaction to a book about facts and lived experience, that tells you everything about why men stay silent in the first place.

And just to clarify further: The Crown Prosecution Service took over the case against Eleanor de Freitas on 5th December 2013, and continued with the prosecution. When Ms de Freitas died, on April 4th 2014 (some four months after the CPS had taken over the case) her father sought to blame the CPS and myself for her death, at her inquest. The coroner refused to make such a finding. Mr de Freitas then took the coroner to court, to open a new inquest, (via Judicial Review) and lost. (see link below).

On 9th March 2016, Mr Justice Holroyde, sitting in the High Court, after reviewing all of the papers, denied the application for judicial review. In his reasons, he stated at paragraph 5:

“…The CPS here had medical evidence, including that which was relied on by those representing the deceased [the de Freitas family], which did not identify any real of immediate risk to her life. No representations were made to the CPS, in the days immediately proceeding her death, to the effect that her condition was worsening and that the prosecution was endangering life”.

An internal Metropolitan Police report, seen by The Mail on Sunday, states that Detective Inspector Julian King and Detective Constable Phil Dial failed to follow the most basic leads and left Mr Economou to gather evidence himself to show that the rape claim was false.

The report says officers failed to collect CCTV images showing the pair kissing in a lingerie store after the alleged assault. They neglected to check thousands of texts, too.

The report states that when Mr Economou alleged that Ms de Freitas had perverted the course of justice, officers told him ‘to go away and obtain the evidence before police would be willing to record the allegation, whereas the correct position should have been to record the allegation in order that it could be investigated’.
