The Pentagon wants to livestream Nidal Hasan’s firing squad execution on December 3 at Fort Hood.
Hegseth says people need to see “serious consequences.”
Vance says he won’t watch it and isn’t even sure it will happen.
The Pope called the death penalty “inadmissible.”
Do we really want public executions broadcast in 2026?
What’s your take?
Trump just cut a diesel deal with Putin to bring down prices before the midterms.
Zelensky calls it a “gift to Putin” and an “investment in a war that must be ended.”
Ukrainian negotiators were in the US talking peace while this was announced.
Russia then hit civilian targets again.
Lower gas prices sound good. Funding the other side of a war does not.
Where do you stand?
Katie Zacharia is Donald Trump’s pick for the next White House press secretary. If you’re seeing that announcement everywhere and wondering who she is, here’s the background.
Zacharia comes from inside Trump’s communications circle. She has been serving as a senior communications adviser at Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social. Before that, she worked as a spokesperson and deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security.
She’s also an attorney, a Pepperdine graduate and a familiar face to viewers of Fox News and Newsmax.
In his October 9 announcement, Trump highlighted both her experience and her loyalty, describing her as a “loyal and brilliant supporter.” He also credited her work on his campaigns in key swing states.
One detail worth getting straight: Karoline Leavitt wasn’t suddenly fired to make room for her.
Leavitt announced her departure in August and left the role on August 27, saying she wanted more time with her young children. She is set to begin as a Fox News contributor on November 1. Zacharia’s appointment fills the position Leavitt had already vacated.
Zacharia called her selection the “honor of a lifetime” and said she would focus on communicating the administration’s achievements.
Now comes the part a résumé can’t tell us: how she’ll handle the briefing room.
A television appearance gives you a few minutes to make your case. At the White House podium, one answer can lead to five follow-up questions—and a statement made on camera can become an international headline before the briefing ends.
She’ll have to explain decisions, respond when the facts are still developing and deal with reporters who challenge the administration’s account. Having the president’s confidence matters. Building credibility through those exchanges will matter too.
Her first briefings will give the public a much clearer picture of what to expect.
What would you most want to see from the next press secretary: more regular briefings, clearer answers or more room for follow-up questions?

Marvin Harrison Jr. could be heading out of Arizona—and the biggest question is where he goes next.
The Cardinals are finalizing a trade involving the former No. 4 overall pick, according to ESPN and NFL Network. Harrison has reportedly been informed and will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions while the deal is completed.
His destination and the trade compensation have not yet been reported.
For Arizona, this would be a significant change of direction just two years after selecting him fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Harrison finished his rookie season with 62 catches, 885 yards and eight touchdowns. His second season produced 41 catches, 608 yards and four touchdowns across 12 games. Through four games this season, he has just five receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown.
That decline leaves a difficult question: how much falls on the receiver, and how much reflects the offense around him? The numbers show a drop in production, but they don’t explain the whole story.
For a team considering a trade, the appeal is clear: a 24-year-old receiver with high draft pedigree and NFL production to build on. The challenge is figuring out exactly how to turn that potential into a consistent role.
The destination matters. Who would be throwing him the ball? How would the coaching staff use him? And would he get the opportunities to become a central part of the passing game?
For the Cardinals, the eventual return will shape how this decision is judged. Moving on from such a major investment puts the spotlight on both their evaluation and their plan for the offense.
Until the details emerge, this remains a developing trade story—not a completed deal with a confirmed destination.
Which team would give Marv the best chance to turn his career around?

That is what Banks collected in last 3 years just for not maintaining ‘Minimum Account Balance.’
Not from the rich. Not from big borrowers.
From the poorest accounts in the system.
Their crime? They didn’t have enough money.
A farmer misses the minimum balance - Penalty.
A pensioner withdraws money for medicine - Penalty.
A daily wage worker falls short by a few hundred rupees - Penalty.
The poor keep money in banks for safety. Not to be quietly fined for being poor.
Financial inclusion should protect small savings, not punish small balances.
In Parliament today I proposed ending minimum balance penalties so the banking system stops charging people for their poverty.

Chappell Roan just set the 2026 Grammys red carpet on fire with a completely sheer, backless burgundy Mugler gown held together by faux n!ppl€ rings. Zero straps, zero regrets—just high-drama glamour that perfectly matched her fiery red hair.
It’s a bold reworking of a 1998 Mugler archive piece, paired with smoky eyes, temporary tattoos, and that signature Roan confidence. She’s up for major categories tonight (including Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo for “The Subway”), coming off her Best New Artist win last year, and she’s also presenting.
The moment she stepped out, timelines exploded. Fans are screaming “ICONIC,” “fearless,” “camp queen”—loving that she’s bringing theatrical, boundary-pushing fashion to a red carpet that’s felt pretty safe lately.
But the backlash is intense. Plenty of people are calling it “tasteless,” “classless,” “desperate for shock value,” and “way too much for the Grammys.” Comments like “this isn’t fashion, it’s just trying too hard” and “it distracts from the music” are flooding in.
Love it or hate it, Chappell Roan just made sure the conversation is about her. The Grammys red carpet hasn’t been this divided in years.
(Video of her arrival attached—the photographers went wild)
