POOR PONY LEFT TO GIVE BIRTH TIED UP, LEFT WEAK BESIDE HER APPROXIMATELY 2 DAY OLD DEAD BABY 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

Once again, Ireland’s abused and neglected animals are suffering because of human cruelty 😡😡😡😡
We rushed to Rathcoole, Dublin with the horse van to help a poor, weak mother 💔.
Her baby lay just a few feet away, torn apart by wildlife 💔💔💔 dead 💔💔💔💔
The trauma and heartbreak this poor mum has endured is unimaginable. We are devastated and angry 😡😡
This did not happen without human neglect behind it, and those responsible should be ashamed.
With the help of local people and a vet, we managed to get her standing and safely into our horse van. She is now on her way to UCD Veterinary Hospital receiving urgent care, but she is exhausted, frightened, and heartbroken, we don’t know if she will make it 💔💔💔
Ireland needs to do better. Our government should be ashamed that rescues like us are going through this heart break again and again 💔💔
Every single day, we are left picking up the pieces for helpless animals who have been failed by people and by the system 💔💔💔💔

💔💔 SO SAD 💔💔HEARTBREAKING 💔💔💔
The poor pony we rescued earlier. God love her, suffered unimaginable neglect and cruelty.
Thanks to the incredible team at UCD Veterinary Hospital, she was seen immediately the moment we arrived. ❤️
Their compassion and urgency have been nothing short of amazing.
She is severely emaciated. Her hooves are in terrible condition. Most heartbreaking of all, a head collar had been left on for so long that it became embedded, leaving a large, painful wound. This didn’t happen overnight, someone knows something.
We’ve spoken with local urban horse owners, and they are just as shocked and disgusted. How could anyone leave an animal to suffer like this?
The anger and sadness we feel is beyond words 😡💔
But from today forward, everything changes for her. She will receive nothing but the best care, love, and dignity she deserves. Our vets have already said how much they want to fight for her.
We’ve named her Patricia, Patty ❤️
This St. Patrick’s Day, please consider skipping just one drink and donating it instead to help give Patty a second chance.
Every euro will go toward her treatment and recovery.

Yesterday in a Dublin area, An Garda Síochána Dublin and the Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit team were left sickened and heartbroken after discovering dogs living in absolutely horrific conditions.
One poor fawn coloured soul was found dead on arrival, locked in a filthy cage, with nothing to eat and left in the freezing cold, she was also heavily pregnant, HEARTBREAKING 💔

Another bully breed dog was found emaciated, suffering from cherry eye in both eyes and rain scald covering its frail body.
The anger and heartbreak felt by everyone who witnessed this is beyond words. No animal deserves to suffer like this.
Sadly, this is happening all over the country. Animal cruelty cannot continue to go unpunished. We need stronger enforcement, heavier prosecutions, and a dedicated An Garda Síochána animal crime unit.
Please don’t stay silent. If you suspect animal cruelty or neglect:
• Report it to your local Garda station
• REPORT TO DAFM Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Dedicated helpline to report incidents of Animal Cruelty - Phone: [phone]

ANIMAL WELFARE / KILKENNY – 2nd Multi-Agency Operation
So proud to stand together as a team in Kilkenny, building strong partnerships with key agencies to protect animal welfare in our community.

On Monday 23rd February, My Lovely Horse Rescue, Kilkenny County Council, An Garda Síochána Kilkenny
NSPCA, Carlow/Kilkenny Dog Shelter, and Irish Racing Greyhound came together for the second Joint Committee Operational Day.

This collaborative operation focused on tackling animal cruelty, ensuring compliance with animal welfare legislation, and promoting responsible pet ownership across the county.

During the operation:
My Lovely Horse Rescue, with the assistance of Garda Authorised Officers under the Animal Health and Welfare Act, seized 11 dogs, with 3 dogs surrendered.
The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) seized 7 dogs under the Animal Health and Welfare Act.
All animals are now safe. They have received veterinary treatment and are being given the care, compassion and love they deserve ❤️

By working together, we strengthen enforcement, improve animal protection standards, and support responsible ownership throughout Kilkenny. Partnerships like these are vital in ensuring legislation is applied fairly and effectively while keeping animal welfare at the forefront.

A huge thank you to all partners for their professionalism, dedication and ongoing commitment to protecting animals in our community.

Today we were called out on an emergency to a poor horse that was stuck in a ditch in Santry Park Dublin.
We got there as quick as we could, we had no idea how long the poor boy had been lying there, he was trembling and his breathing was very heavy. With the help of the amazing guys from Dublin Fire Brigade Finglas, we all tried to get him out but sadly he was to weak 💔
He had a large cut on his mouth, the vet thought he maybe had colic, sepsis also…the poor boy had suffered enough.
Our hearts broke 💔💔💔💔

We have no idea where this beautiful horse came from, how he managed to get himself stuck, no one came looking for him 💔💔💔

He died with people that truly cared all around him, we cried for this poor boy 💔

WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP, a beautiful animal like this does not deserve to be owned by a human that can’t look after him 💔💔💔🤬🤬🤬

Once again we ask that you please help us, we cannot do this without you, we need help, the MLHR TEAM never stop 💔
