Production Designer: making Bad Ass Art for Daisy Jones & the Six, Tiny Beautiful Things, Little Fires Everywhere, Future Man, Goliath, Dexter. Lover of Dessert
Just finished watching @daisyjonesand6 for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn't really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story.
It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story.
It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it.
Hopefully it will continue...
@clkerst @prof_gabriele He's a discerning audience. As an added side, my Set Decorator's Dad was also a professor, so there's some of him in there as well.
@BrunaLab @prof_gabriele To be fair - my Dad took issue with the post-its on the monitor, as that is not fully Dad accurate. He would agree about the booze. I told him I do get to take some artistic license.
Ron championed many people in his life and I was lucky enough to be one. He gave me my first design job and supported me professionally and personally. His smart sense of humor, tiny dog and tiny car as the antithesis of his giant personality will be deeply missed.
My father, Ronald L. Schwary, died last Thursday night, July 2. I am heartbroken but know he is at peace, laughing, telling jokes, and sharing stories. He brought so much joy to the world, the people he loved and worked with, and people he barely knew. https://t.co/vRV9BH6doe
A picture of @lynnsheltonfilm on our Ohio scout where it looks like she's bringing the air in for a hug, which represents how she was with all of us. You will be very missed.
Fire at 1/3 scale of the exterior of the Richardson house to VFX onto the actual house. We built all of the main features out of metal this way and lit them up so they would burn the same way the house would. #LittleFiresEverywhere
@WritersWorkOrg @KatrinaMedoff@LittleFiresHulu @WWfilmchallenge I graduated college in 1997 - this entire show took me back. Some of the most fun parts were coming up with the props that would take us there like SlimFast and Snackwells.
@KatrinaMedoff@LittleFiresHulu @WWfilmchallenge @kerrywashington was very involved in the process. We would walk the set together at each stage to make sure it represented Mia's level of commitment to staying in Shaker Heights.
@KatrinaMedoff@LittleFiresHulu @WWfilmchallenge Lexie's and Izzy's rooms are the pink and lavender versions of each other (down to similar wallpaper patterns), except Lexie is comfortable in her mom's world and Izzy is doing exactly what you said.
