[Edd Coates | Game UI Database 2.0 @EddCoates]

I'm pleased to announce that around 200 pages' worth of UI/UX tutorial resources are coming to the Game UI Database for FREE via a brand new blog. No ads. No paywalls. No email signups.
Here's a preview of the first piece dropping next week, all about crafting cross-platform control schemes and layouts!

Oh, and I think it goes without saying, but this is an AI-free zone.

https://t.co/TP3Du7vpnC

Eye modeling always pulls me in—especially the iris. These are older; what color for the new one?

She's a 25-year-old crane operator whose "office" is a glass box 60 stories up — and the view earns her $6,000 a month.

She never shows her face.

She never explains anything.

She turns the camera around, and the whole city is under her feet — other towers, the site far below, roads like wiring.

That's the entire video.
That's all it needs to be.

Every other "day at work" clip competes on the person. Hers competes on the place.

Nobody can screenshot their way into that cab.

You either operate the crane or you'll never once see what she sees and the algorithm rewards exactly that kind of access nobody else can offer.

Notice what she's actually selling.

Not the job — the workplace.

A million people film their commute and their desk.

She films a glass room in the sky that most people didn't know had a human inside it.

The location does 100% of the work.

She's not a content creator and doesn't pretend to be.

Phone on, view out, AI takes the raw clip — finds the frame that makes your stomach drop, cuts it to the music, captions it, schedules it.

She's back to work before it posts.

The $6,000 stack:

Workwear and equipment brands paying for a real operator, not a model in a costume.

Platform payouts on millions of monthly views.

Affiliate links on the gear she actually wears up there.

The lesson isn't "learn to run a crane"

It's that if your workplace is somewhere 99% of people will never stand, you don't need a personality or a face — the window does the talking.

What's the highest place you've ever worked?
Drop it below — I'll tell you if it'd work as an account.
