On iOS27 in the Apple Preview app, you can pick up the loop and drag it around anywhere. Totally over the top but somehow great and has the old Apple DNA. Hope they keep it in for September.
Luxury takes the grid: Gucci announces title partnership with Alpine Formula One Team starting next season.
From the 2027 FIA Formula One World Championship, we will race as ‘Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team’ and compete in Gucci colours. This will be the first time a luxury fashion house serves as title partner of a team competing at the pinnacle of motorsport, Formula One.
Driven by mutual ambition and shared values, the collaboration introduces Gucci Racing, a new business and experiential platform built around the values of performance, precision, discipline, and excellence at the intersection of luxury and sport.

Ferrari Luce will be sold to the customers who are trying to break into the brand. They’ll buy this to get access to harder to get models. It’s going to work similar to high end watches. You won’t be able to sell it for a while if you’ll want to qualify for a hard to get model.
There’s so many finguers and writing still not wearing anything. Also, if the real moat is health data that might take priority over selling watches only. For kids for example, they can’t wear Apple Watches in school but parents would love to have a way to keep track of them; getting an AirTag isn’t good enough and kids don’t think it’s cool.
@TheOutsidersApp I prefer the cleanness of the right one but weirdly the colors of the left one. All these people that do sports, it seems, are into brighter colors. If I look at the Nikes or the Hokas or New Balances, all the running shoes are very very in-your-face color-wise mostly
The App Store have a new set of requirements that they are bringing to developers around releasing apps. I wrote a few thoughts on why I think this could be a good thing for users and an easier way to manage releases in the long run. link below
@signulll I think this has always been true at smaller startups but something that everyone was too embarrassed to say. Now, it becomes best practice for most.
