Wondering if parts of this could be solved my a different coding surface area...terminal coding did made me feel similar. Switching to using Claude ai cloud helped reduce that burn feeling. I started giving longer list of things to do per PR, could take 4-5 mins to create it. Then let it rip for 20-25 mins.
While it's cooking, similarly create 4-5 such chats back to back. Later batch review them for the next iteration.
The unlocks: keeping it in terminal made me wanna review each to not mess up my work tree or other parts of the system. So it felt much less like keep accepting and more just review work like a tech lead once it's all done.
The cloud way just took all of these concerns away and made me feel much more comfortable with just testing 3-4 different approaches easily.
Cool to start seeing more infra related discussions!
I got a chance to attend the monthly database meetup @PlanetScale
Got the chance to candidly chat with @ovaistariq from @TigrisData
on how infra discovery and decision making is changing across even enterprises now

Amazing community provided options for each component.
@nic_detommaso BART gets much more hate than it deserves. The city has pretty good public infra.
Also, Pretty grateful to the friend who forced me to start using Lyft E-bikes. They remain one of the fastest modes, and pretty much always faster than taking an uber
@ColinGardiner The only true advice I've seen in my feed today VC that's actually valid instead of generic slop.
(Saying from years of getting lost and finding the right path now)
@sflorimm Back in 2016 also I wasn't prepping for a job. Just to build things and get better at your craft. Jobs came automatically. Better than the ones I could have planned for.
