The Black River Green Team completed their "dumpster dive" with waste analysis earlier this week. Please give a shout-out to the entire crew for their efforts in bringing composting to the Black River lunch program. Way to go, team!
Madelyn Rynsburger and Hannah Huggett presented their ideas from the Green Team to the BR Board of Education last night. They are looking to improve our recycling efforts at Black River. Even looking into composting. #studentleaders#GREENTEAM
First day of teacher in-service! Excited to have all of these talented teachers back on campus! Now all we need are the students. We’re looking forward to another great school year!!!
Elementary students had a special assembly to meet Kay Haring, famous graffiti artist Keith Haring's sister, as she talked about his life and art through her book "The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Drawing" Thank you to @Saugatuck_Arts!! @blackriverrats
Thanks @Saugatuck_Arts for creating a fun experience for some lucky 4/5th grade students and letting them just be kids! We made Keith Haring inspired silhouettes and had a lot of fun break dancing, which we learned was his inspiration! @blackriverrats
