Camaradas, um excelente texto dando um direcionamento político para o segundo turno. Leiam, por favor. E nada de desespero, melancolia ou clima de medo paralisante. É possível vencer e vamos vencer!

Everyone, we understand that some of you might be confused by this post, but politics is something we simply cannot ignore right now. We feel it is necessary to give you an update and shed light on what is happening in Brazil.
Our country is going through a massive political shift, with the population deeply divided. In the recent elections, the PL (Liberal Party) secured 121 seats in the Chamber of Deputies, and their far-right presidential candidate won the first round.
This has sparked huge concern among everyone who sees these far-right proposals as radical and inhumane proposals that threaten the basic rights of working-class citizens who don't fit into the elite's vision of society.
The previous far-right administration was devastating for Brazil. During the pandemic, the former president—who is the father of the current far-right candidate—made cruel and dismissive remarks about the deaths of millions of hospitalized citizens while spreading dangerous fake news about vaccines. That same administration led the country back onto the UN Hunger Map, forcing marginalized people to line up and search through discarded bones and food scraps just to have something to eat.
They also pose a significant risk to minority groups, including Black and Indigenous communities, as far-right politicians and their followers continue to spread openly hostile rhetoric against marginalized people.
Their crusade against women's rights has gained momentum as well, evidenced by the election of a congresswoman who describes herself as "anti-feminist." Her sole agenda is to actively fight against feminism in our country, ironically benefiting from the very rights and sacrifices of past female activists that enabled her to reach a position of power today.
Moving forward, our main focus will always remain on our artist, but we refuse to stay silent about what we are living through. We want our international followers to understand what's at stake.
If you can, please help us spread awareness and amplify this message. We need all the support we can get to ensure Brazil isn't handed over to an authoritarian regime that will strip away our basic rights with the promise of a "superior society", we will not be silenced.
