@paulg Not an expert at all, but it seems to me that it should be easier to determine the cause of death for violent causes (eg broken bones) than for other causes.
So this could be a bit misleading, even if surely there were a lot of violent deaths indeed.
@viktorklang One useful property of XOR is that given a random bit stream following the uniform distribution, and any other bit stream, the result of XORing them will also follow the uniform distribution
@OhMyCo_in @akkateam @sjrdoeraene@scala_js @japgolly 5/ The list of open source software on which I rely is almost endless, so I won't list them all, but I'm grateful to all of their contributors, and all of open source contributors in general. Thanks again!
@OhMyCo_in @akkateam @sjrdoeraene@scala_js 4/ Thanks @japgolly for scalajs-react (and Facebook engineers for React too). It's a really good integration between React and ScalaJs, and a joy to work with. ScalaCss is nice too :)
@OhMyCo_in @akkateam 3/ Thanks to @sjrdoeraene & other @scala_js contributors. When I first used it 3 years ago, it seemed like a risky choice. Now it's more mature, brings the joy of Scala programming to the frontend and gets out of the way. If you haven't already, don't dismiss it before trying it.
@OhMyCo_in 2/ Thanks @akkateam for all of your software, but particularly for #akka-streams. It makes the right abstractions, enabling simple designs for most data flows. Well documented and fun to work with.
1/ I wanted to thank some of the open source systems and libraries that I've relied upon to build @OhMyCo_in. As software developers we rely deeply on open source libraries, compilers, etc and often take them for granted.
Imagine my face when I realize that I haven't been receiving emails since the start of the month (DNS stopped working due to an expired credit card and I overlooked the alert email).
So, if you sent me an email these last couple weeks, please send it again.
