Day 46 of #JusticeForOchanya 💔
Another day, my heart still aches for our little Ochanya. Sent to “family” for safety and school, this innocent 13-year-old from Benue was raped repeatedly from age 8 by her uncle Andrew Ogbuja (a lecturer) and his son Victor. The abuse destroyed her body with vesicovaginal fistula. She smiled through the pain until it took her life in October 2018.
Andrew walks free. Victor remains a fugitive. The silence from @BenuePoliceNG, @benuestategovt and @PoliceNG protects them.
We demand: Arrest Victor Ogbuja NOW. Re-open the case. Protect our girls.
Ochanya, your blood still cries out. Rest in power, beautiful angel. We see you, we feel you.
We are not tired.
We are not forgetting.
We are not stopping. 🙏
#JusticeForOchanya #ArrestVictorOgbuja #ProtectTheGirlChild
Let’s tag the @PoliceNG more 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Scattered books, abandoned food flasks, empty classrooms💔
These are scenes we once watched on Al Jazeera from distant war zones in the Middle East now they’re happening in Nigeria.
When schools become targets and terror becomes normal news, a nation is slowly losing its future.
You cannot rehabilitate a person that beheads a person.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that offs people for sport.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that kidnaps and rapes children.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuna !!!
I just learned that a friend of mine was killed by bandits last night !!!
His name is Ja’o Garba !!!
He lived in a town called Kanwa, a ward under Zurmi Local Government Area !!!
He operated a local pharmacy store in the town !!!
He was shot 4 times yesterday on his way back home from his pharmacy !!!
He leaves behind a 2 years old daughter and a wife !!!
The last time I saw him was at a wedding
Fatiha in March !!!
Are we going to continue living like this fgs !!!
There is this lady on TikTok , Fauzia Hassan, an obviously well to do young woman with rich parents, complaining about how she had to pay 7k at the Abuja airport just to park for 15minutes.
Knowing how the typical Nigerian works, she quickly added that she has no problem paying it but can everyone afford it? What is the fate of Uber drivers and others that can not afford such exorbitant parking fees.
Some fools still went to the the comment section to say if she could afford a flight, she should also be able to afford parking fee
There is no redeeming some Nigerians from their foolery.
"This particular reciter is no more.
I am sharing his recitation to be a reward for him for anyone that listens to it.
May ALlah grant him paradise and free him from the torment of grave."
Bomb blast in a mosque but they removed mosque from the headline and replaced it with Christmas to fit their christian genocide propaganda.
We are fighting both terrorists and the hypocrisy of media propagandists.
This is coordinated. It's not a mistake. The Nigerian mainstream media has declared a war on Islam and Muslims long ago. They've always been largely irresponsible but showing it more glaringly proves it beyond doubt.
The report of the terorrist attack was made to make it appear like the victims were Christians while the victims were in fact Muslims.
It's a pity but Muslims cannot expect fairness for the Nigerian media. We must invest in the media and tell our own stories and report the truth as it is. Our religion mandates us to be truthful always. We owe that to our faith but we can only with certainty what our own faith teaches, and what's lawful and unlawful for us.
May Allah destroy the terrorists and their sponsors and those who help them spread their mischief and hatred against Islam and those who deliberately spread misinformation against Nigeria. Āmīn.
So a bomb explodes inside a mosque in Maiduguri, the victims are Muslims, yet Nigerian media deliberately frames it as Bomb blast rocks Maiduguri on Christmas Eve. If you people report the actual news, will you die? This selective wording is not journalism, it’s madness and unprofessional.
How are we supposed to be fighting terrorism when we’re also forced to fight stupid, bigoted Nigerian media that thrives on twisting facts to inflame religious tension? Terror has no religion, but manufacturing a Christian genocide narrative is sickening, irresponsible, and dangerous.Say the truth and be professional for once in your miserable lives.
Repost this if you’re a Nigerian Muslim and you distance yourself from the terrorists and bandits bedevilling our country, repost if you condemn their atrocities and believe it to be un-Islamic and barbaric.
I want to check something, or even prove a point.
Out of hatred for the cockroach, the mosquitoes voted for the insecticide. But when it arrived, it wiped out the cockroach, the mosquitoes, and even the fly that never voted. Good morning, Nigeria.
