I'm André Simões and I create coloured-pencil pet portraits. My goal is simple: turn your favourite photo into a piece with emotion, depth, and detail.

Those amber eyes and the fine highlights in the black fur give this hand-drawn portrait its particular glow. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

A pale muzzle against a dark coat, with light caught in the eyes. In this hand-drawn portrait, those contrasts give the face its particular sense of likeness. #PetPortrait #YuukArt

The portrait keeps the dog's left-facing profile, but the dark spots are what lead the eye from muzzle to neck. #YuukArt #PetPortraitArt

The pale, shaggy muzzle draws the eye against the dark fur around the face. Then the nose and glimpse of pink bring the portrait into focus. It's a lovely reminder to look closely. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

Those pale green eyes stand out in both the sofa photograph and the hand-drawn portrait. The fine tabby markings make the gaze unmistakably its own. #YuukArt #CatPortrait

The dark stripes between the eyes, pale fur around them and fine whiskers each add a different line to this cat portrait. Look closely at how they come together. #YuukArt #CatPortrait

The bright eyes draw you in, but the fine white whiskers make this hand-drawn cat portrait feel unmistakably true to the photograph. #YuukArt #CatPortrait

The dark markings around the eyes are easy to notice, but their placement is what brings the face into focus. Take a closer look at how they meet the lighter fur. #PetPortrait #YuukArt

The feathered edges of those wide ears give this hand-drawn dog portrait its unmistakable outline. #YuukArt #DogPortraitArt

The pale strokes across this dog’s forehead continue into the muzzle, forming a pattern that stands out against the dark fur. A small detail, but a defining one. #PetPortrait #YuukArt

The blue eyes meet the pale fur against a dark ground, creating a natural focal point. Look closely at how the fine strokes around the eyes bring the face into focus. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

The long curls around the ears are more than a framing detail—they’re the first thing that makes this gaze recognizable in the hand-drawn portrait. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

The bright eyes catch attention, but the dark markings around them and across the forehead are just as distinctive. Look closely at how they meet the pale fur and whiskers. #PetPortrait #YuukArt

The spotted ears frame the face, but those brown eyes hold the portrait together. Every detail is hand-drawn. #YuukArt #PetPortraitArt

The white blaze runs between the eyes and down the nose, while the orange patches frame each side. A small pattern, but a very particular one. #CatPortrait #YuukArt

[YuukArt @ArtYuuk]

The lighter marking runs from the forehead toward the muzzle, set against darker patches around the eyes. Follow that contrast through the face and notice how it shapes the likeness. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

The amber eyes draw you in; the fine, unruly muzzle fur keeps you looking. This close-up becomes a completely hand-drawn portrait. #YuukArt #PetPortraitArt

The curled tongue gives this portrait a distinctive outline. Look again and the visible eye, nose and fine strands around the muzzle become part of the same carefully observed likeness. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

The amber eyes draw you in; the white blanket keeps the portrait rooted in the original close-up. #YuukArt #PetPortrait

The dark marking from forehead to nose leads the eye straight to the golden eyes. It’s a small contrast, but it gives this portrait a distinctly recognizable pattern. #PetPortrait #YuukArt
