@HMRCcustomers my tax code changed from 1257L to 261T-M1 this month. I only have one source of income (salary from employer). Could you clarify:
- What triggered this change?
- If it’s a temporary/emergency code?
- Any action needed from my side?

@HMRCcustomers This 261T-M1 tax code shows deductions for medical insurance and an adjustment for estimated tax owed. I only have one salary and no other income/benefits. Not sure how I could owe tax, as I believe my employer has already paid all taxes on my behalf. Could you pls assist.
